Are you sick of reading reviews about how terrible/snobby/a-holes people are that usually work in bike shops? Well, you will not get that experience at Denver Bikes. When it comes to bikes, I am a complete novice. Everytime I went into a bike shop in Denver, I felt like a nerd at a jock convention (the last guy picked in gym class). I hated the pretentiousness of 90% of the "experts" I delt with. Denver Bikes was a pleasent experience...very pleasent and knowledgeable service. I was treated like a customer, and they had the patience to want to explain and educate. Super friendly! Thanks Matt and Jacob! Im thinking about changing the brand of bike I eventually want to buy, so I caqn give DB the business. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DENVER BICYCLES!! Thanks for great service, guys!! Peace

I had stripped the bolt to my sons bike seat. I went to True Value Hardware store to get a new allenwrench. Since Denver Bicycle is located in the back of True Value Hardware store, and very close to the allenwrenches, Lee from Denver Bicycle must have overheard me talking to the clerk while trying to find the correct size. Lee came out to where my car was parked and offered to help me. Since I stripped the bolt, it was a bit of a challenge getting the allenwrench to fit in the bolt, so he went back in the store to get a hammer, then returned and fixed the seat. I was very happy it worked, I offered to pay him, he said not to worry about it. Lee was very nice and helpful, shat great customer service!!! I will definitely go back to Denver Bicycle again!

Went here for some work on the bicycles. First off the place is really cool, bike shop is tucked into a well stocked hardware store which is nice if you need more than just bike work. The guy who helped me, david, was fantastic! He knew what he was talking about, made me feel very comfortable and at home throughout my whole experience. The work done on the bikes was top notch, hes a great mechanic and is very well versed in bicycles and bicycle culture. I have been riding for about a decade and this was the first interaction that actually made me want to write a review. Highly recommend checking this place and if you need work done go see him! Thanks for everything, I will definitely be back to see you guys again.

These guys are great. Theyre definitely passionate and knowledgeable about their trade. I took my commuter bike for its yearly tune up( I used to take it somewhere else, but they take too long) and the price was excellent and the turn around was even better, so I brought in my wifes. They stand by their work too. These guys always fit in quick fixes to get you back on the road and are willing to order anything they dont have in stock or tell you who in town you can get it from. Lastly, I NEVER leave reviews, but these guys are to good not to complement on here.

I have been looking at bicycles for months, considering new and used, hybrid and road. Im just trying to get into the sport and I havent found a bike I want in my size and price range at other shops. I stopped in expecting to strike out, but Sara rocked! She explained all I needed to know about a bicycle, its fit, the first months of riding, gear, etc. She even recommended a saddle fitting (no benefit to her). I LOVE this shop and the bicycle is amazing and well priced! Also...the ship is just cool and in the back of the hardware shop. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

Went there last minute on a Sunday afternoon/evening and they were able to fit me in to repair a gear cable. They were very helpful and even checked out my other bike to see what kind of tune-up it might need. I thought everything was reasonably priced, they knew what they were talking about, and didnt try to take advantage of me for knowing so little. Even though they are in the back of a True Value Hardware store, I would recommend this shop for sure. It might be a little hard to find, but well worth it.

This is the best bike shop in town. The guys that work there are knowledgeable, super friendly, and you get the feeling that they love to ride and keep others riding. They arent the biggest shop and they dont have the largest variety but theyve always been happy to order something in if the didnt have it. Theyre also priced very competitively. I picked up a pair of panniers from them at the same price amazon had them with shipping. Anytime Ive gone to a different bike shop Ive been disappointed.

Double flatted on commute to work. Co worker dropped me and my bike at shop so I could get some new tubes. First, the lady working there was super friendly and attentive. She got me some thorn resistant tubes and some sealant. Then she offered to let me use their stand and tools to change out tubes. When I was done, she led me to the sink so I could wash my hands. This was an awesome experience. I have been to many bike shops, and this was service beyond compare.

We called beforehand to verify that they had a specific intertube to which we were told us by Associates Sarah. When we got there she didnt have the energy that we needed and tried to sell us one that was at 1.3/8 instead of 1.75. When we asked her for more information when she told him she had our product she said that that they normally just sell that size when theyre out of the other. Not going back ever

Excellent shop. They did a full overhaul on my bike and now it rides even better than when it was new. They fixed nagging squeaks that the shop I bought it from never could at a really good price. They focus more on urban riding and commuting, so their stock of bikes are reasonable priced rather than the high-end racing bikes many other shops have.

Really helpful, honest and knowledgeable staff. Ive gotten commuter, mountain bike, and road biking advice/parts from them. Not the widest selection, but if they dont have a part theyll either order it for you or tell you what other stores in Denver can help. Nice that theyre located in a hardware store too so you can get other project things too!

I absolutely love it here. Theyre so friendly and down to earth, and genuinely care that you are a happy with the job. I had a rough few weeks, were I was in for a tune up, and then a derailer fix, followed by a flat. They gave me great pricing. Loyalty and satisfaction of their customers is clearly the main concern here.
