It is a pretty nice small town grocery store. The prices r a little high on some things, a little higher than what I pay at King Soopers. So, I do shop at King Soopers for some things, that r more expensive at the Byers General. They do offer a lot, though. The pharmacy is great, and the staff in the pharmacy r very friendly, as well as helpful. All of the employees r very friendly, they r warm, and friendly, with smiling faced. All in all, I shop there most all of the time, when I cant get to King Soopers, and they do have a lot to offer. Its not to bad of a store, and I dont mind shopping there. The aroma from the deli, smells so delicious, every time I walk in there. I would recommend people to shop there, for so.a things. Its there, and beats having to drive to another store(King Soopers), just for certain items not found there, or paying more for an item, because by the time u pay for gas, u r paying more for gas to drive to another store, than just staying in Byers, and shopping at the little small, well its actually not that small, town grocery store. Small town grocery, with a small town atmosphere. Thanks Byers General Store, for your service, and pleasant, warm, friendly, employees. Every time I shop there, I c new faces, as well, that they have hired on. Although, when they r hiring, and certain people put in apps., they should give these people a chance, and hire them on. I know people that have put apps in, and they, either dont call the people, or they tell them that they r not hiring, when they r, or the position has been filled. If they r an equal opportunity employer, than they shouldnt play favorites, and only hire certain people. Give every1 a chance, and have them on a probationary period, to c how they r going to work out. If they Don"t work out, than, at least u have them a chance. If the person doesnt have that much experience, or they take a little longer to train, so what. Train them a little longer, until they catch on. At least they r trying, and they r not as quick to learn, as other people, but in the long run, those people make the best employees. But, all in all, the employers, and every1 that works there, go out of there way, to get u what u need, if it isnt there. I dont mind shopping there.

Courtney is one of the best things that happened to this store. Always working extremely hard. Its hard not to find a smile on that girls face, and making everyone else smile too. Ive been coming in here for YEARS and truly I see the store not so dead when shes around. Truly a blessing. Always see her going out to help others in need to their cars, heck she even puts the groceries in their baskets without them asking. Anything she can do to help others, well thats what she does. You dont see that in people her age these days. Shes one of the reasons I dont shop at king supers, they treat you like a shopper whereas at byers you get smiles and personality. Quiet little country store. A little bit of everything but dont expect the level of variety youd find in a larger store (obviously). Great staff, good hours, and the best pharmacy on the corridor. The pharmacy staff routinely goes above and beyond to meet and often exceed expectations. Prices are a little high overall but when you factor in gas used to drive to another store you come out about the same. I go here for my meat though, love the Hereford beef. Has a full service deli as well offering lots of hot foods as well as the basics like sandwiches and wraps. They offer other services too like propane, UPS drop off, Rug Doctor rentals, and faxing/copying.

I live across the street from the general store, and usually they are stocked with all the basics. In the past few months they have really slipped. Produce is far from fresh, and items normally stocked are mixed up and often expired. Its like management dropped the ball. Today I couldnt find any of the normal items I buy there, and I could not find any bacon that wasnt within 3 days of expiring. The cashier seemed to care but other employees were apathetic and disrespectful. Will Chase owes his community a much less bitter shopping experience that doesnt leave people like me turning to the Internet for an audience. I just want groceries.

This is an excellent store for its size. It is very well stocked with most anything you would want. It has at least a couple of generations of experience and that shows in the careful stocking. The meat and produce are very good. I like the folks that run the store. There is an excellent pharmacy with very knowledgeable people. I particularly like the people that work there as they are very helpful and friendly. We are vwry lucky in this area to have them. I live 12 miles away.

The Biggest Little Country Store Ever! Such a great small town gem. It has most of what youd need on any given day. Its got the same electronic registers as any big box store with a bonus of their own signature products. (Like the Chow Chow, it is amazing!) The people are friendly and helpful and just made my experience pleasant. Oh yeah... the prices on most things beat the big city prices hands down.

Watch out for out dated items on the shelf the sodas weather in the bottle or in the can must be left overs from other stores because the taste like they have been stored in the sun for weeks and then put on the shelf. There fresh chicken and ribs are horible, if you have a commplaint all they will do is give you more of the same thing.

Small grocery store with a somewhat limited selection and prices above what youd pay at the larger chains, however, that is to be expected considering their location and lack of large bulk store buying power.
