I have been shopping at Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts since 1973 when I first moved to Boulder, CO. I shopped at Joannes when the fabric store in Table Mesa didnt care enough of a variety of beautiful fabrics like Joanne did and does. I have been buying everything for from Halloween fabrics to Christmas, Easter etc. made several trusseaus for family members since my first visit in 1973. Perhaps the most interesting and fabulous thing about Joannes is that the store keeps up with times. In the craft division we can find anything we need from canvasses and paints to scrapbooking needs. For a store to remain relevant and busy speaks volumes for the manager and staff, who, by the way, no matter how busy, is always ready to help us. Thanks, Joannes! (P.S> I have bought two sewing machines from them over the years (and maybe even more than that!)

Members of our sewing circle making layette items for a Denver hospital have been given amazing treatment at the Boulder JoAnns store for the past 5 years. Customer service, assistance and other services have been exceptional, especially as it may take up to 3 hours to cut fabric when we come in for a major sale - yet everyone is positive, upbeat and professional during our transactions. Staff works really hard to maximize coupons, discounts and promotions allowing us to stretch our fabric dollars for needed materials. We would be unable to produce the output of baby wear needed by the hospital without our access to JoAnns in Boulder and we really appreciate their constant help and encouragement for our program.

We came in 15 minutes before the store was closing, and the staff all but refused to help us because we were not there early enough. They should be willing to serve customers until they close but instead, they really reminded us of the closing time three times without helping to expedite the process. Instead of helping us find what we needed, the staff member "helping" took what we were looking at up to the front desk to announce store closing without telling us she was going. The trip should have taken less than 5 minutes, but we left empty handed looking for simple brown felt. Rude staff, mediocre selection.

Store is great BUT HORRIBLE customer service on the phone!! I wanted to check if they had high density foam sheets in stock before I headed over there to purchase, but I was kept on hold for 10 minutes, then hung up on!! I called back - only to be put on hold for another minute, and hung up on again!! This store isnt the best Jo-anns. Go to the one in woodland hills - best customer service around!!

Either because of incompetence, malice or lack of caring, (or a bit of all three) the computer didnt register the sale price clearly posted by the fabrics I chose. The person cutting verified that the prices should be discounted. She said there was a problem with the computer. When I got to the cashier, she tried to charge me full price again. I left the merchandise at the counter and departed.

Always find a good deal, but finding staff to ask questions is nearly impossible. The store is nearly always understaffed, and when I do find an employee, they are always rude and passive aggressive. I wish I had an alternative close to my house. I have not walked away without a sour taste in my mouth yet.

Jo-Ann is one of my favorite stores. I love walking around and letting my imagination wonders about all sorts of projects I could do. The store has a great selection of fabrics, although there are getting rid of wedding fabrics :( I find the store well organized.

This store has a good selection, but everything is expensive compared to other craft stores. The place is understaffed and the staff look like theyre about to snap under the weight of your stupid questions.

Decent selection and nice employees. Slow service on most days, though. And although you might have coupons, they never work because Jo-Anns always has a "sale" running at the same time. I hate that!
