I went in to have two tires replaced on my aftermarket wheels for my Volvo. I have always gone to either their tire store on Smoky Hill or Colorado blvd in Denver to buy tires for 10 years. I live by this new store and thought I was going to be treated right. When I brought my own new tires to be mounted the salesman Ryan wrote me up. He asked where did I get the new tires and I told him from online. He seemed to got mad and said that he had these tires instock. I told him better deal online than what he quoted and to just mount and balance the tires for me. Then it took 2-3 minutes to come up with a total of $64.00 for both?! Asked why so much and he said I have special wheels and the cost more. My gut feeling told me to walk out now but I did not have the time since it was a sat. and I had lots to do.I told him his price was high and I felt like he was just being jerk because I did not buy tires from them. I told him his price was knda high?! He knocked off only $2.00. I then went outside and made two calls to the Smoky Hill store and the Colo blvd store to get quotes. Both where within $2.00 of each other for $20.00 and $22.00 per wheel total. I went back in and spoke to another sales rep and when I told him I called these stores and got much lower price he got mad. He said that they would have charged more when the would see my rims. I told him I made sure this price was for "specialty wheels". While he was trying to defend his answer I just grabbed a business card and wrote on the back the corporate phone number while waiting. I called the following monday and spoke to them about this. The employee promissed to have the store manager call me. He did 3 days later. I refused to call back because this is plain poor service.Discount tire is generally the best for prices and wheels but my experience with Ryan and his co-workers at this location in Southlands was very dissappointing. Twenty bucks is not my issue but principle is.Ripping people off is the worst advertising. I will never go back to this store and reffer friends elsewhere.

we have been using this specific discount tire since we moved to this area 5 years ago. we have bought tires from them and used them for repairs and stuff. never had a complaint before today. unfortunately my wife had a screw in her tire that needed to be repaired and went without me. the sales rep went on to tell her that her tires would not make it through our upcoming road trip. that he was 90% sure they were going to blow out on us. he was sure the dealership had put old tires on our van when we bought it( it is a 2014 vehicle but for some reason the tires were more than 5 years old) and the tires were rubbing really bad on the outside. she needed to buy a whole new set of tires. of course my wife called me i told her i will look at the tires when i get home. date stamp on the tires may2013 so only 3 years old. the wear on the tires is just fine no issues what so ever. so sorry to say we will not be using this discount tire again. they tried to scare my wife into thinking the tires were going to blow out while traveling down the freeway just so they could get their sales up for the day. DONT SEND ANYONE HERE THAT IS GULLIBLE AT ALL THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM!!!!!!

This a great shop and well managed. My wife overheard a conversation with another customer and the store manager. The customer came in to get one tire replaced because of wear. After evaluating all of the tires the manager came back to the customer and recommended replacing all four tires for safety reasons. The customer said he had been out of work for some time and was starting a new job the next day and could only afford the one tire. The manager said he understood and went into the shop and returned a few minutes later and told the customer that he happened to have four tires that fit his car that were "over runs" and that he could pay for them whenever he could. Also, we have great service from all of the folks here EVERYTIME!! My wife drives a Volvo with low profile wheels and has the extended warranty/replacement and she has never had an issue with a road hazard claim. Professional and service oriented!

This is the first review Ive ever written online; my experience with this Discount Tire was so good I felt in necessary to share. We have been going to Discount Tire for nearly a decade, and while we have gone to several, the Southlands location absolutely sets the bar for customer service, workmanship, and honesty. Rob, one of the managers there, treats everyone with a level of fairness that is just absent from most businesses these days. He will work to win your business and his incredible level of service will work to keep your business. We have had one issue there in the last 10 years and when I brought it up he immediately went beyond what was necessary to make things right. It is truly incredible how good these guys are and I recommend this Discount Tire to everyone I meet.

I have not had customer service like this in a LONG time!!! I was at this discount tire today and had an amazing experience! I was quoted a two hour time frame and when it came close to my time expiring, I reminded them that I needed to leave (and obviously take my vehicle with, which was no done). They immediately ran to my vehicle (literally) and completed the job in FIFTEEN MINUTES. They apologized profusely even though I was not upset with them at all. I worked with a man named Aaron at the front desk who was awesome. He had fantastic customer service skills, not only with me but with every single customer he interacted with. All of the other staff members did as well! I will absolutely be going back to this location as well as recommending it to everyone!

Very frustrating, I went in to get snow tires and had the model of tire I wanted and before he would even give me a price he kept trying to sell me used tires that apparently on had 50 miles on them, I said no thanks but the guy was still very pushy. I asked them how long my summer tires had left on them and he said 2 seasons, so I made sure to tell him that I wanted to keep them and he nodded yes. When I got the car back I asked if the tires were in the trunk and the other guy said no, I asked why and he looked at me irritated and didnt say anything walked away no apology or nothing. I felt that I was treated very poorly and they were just trying to make side money off me. How could you throw away tires off and brand new 2017 car.

Good day DT, Allow me to commend the following individuals: Asst Manager Shaun-who not only hears one, however, listens to your car needs. A real person who has served both our families car needs! Store Manger Charlie-met last week and is on top of an well oil-machine. Jason-Auto Tech who did an outstanding job on our vehicle...keep it up, as well as the rest of the Techs. Furthermore, Ive been to many a tire shops, with that said; it amazes me to find friendly outgoing individuals who respect you with a simple "Good morning, how may I assist you."
