I took my Tacoma in for a regular oil change, and I also told the people at the service desk that I noticed antifreeze leak. They said they would look at it no charge, and yes they did look at it with out charging. The yuba city Toyota told me that I needed to replace a cap and another part that would end up running me 200+ in parts in labor. Once that was done I thought my truck was well and ready to hit the road. I checked under the hood the next morning to find that my coolant reservoir was almost empty and a puddle of anti freeze was under my truck. I called Toyota and spoke to Wade Horton, the service operations manager. He said they would take a look at it again. After taking in my truck in to yuba city Toyota for the 3rd time, they finally found the problem which would come out to 600 with parts in labor. I wanted to question Wade Horton the service manager about the previous parts fixed on my truck that Toyota told me to fix previous to my 3rd trip. Off the bat Wade Horton greeted me with "sit down dude" and after I asked about my truck he said, "I dont know what your taking about. I dont have your sh** up." My argument was that the people at Toyota told me to fix something on my truck that I later found out had nothing to do with the coolant system on my truck? The parts that were told to be replaced by Toyota were not "broken". Being a full time student and part time worker I dont have that kind of money to spend off someone elses mistakes. Wade repeated over and over if I wanted free service. I responded with yes I would love free service. Wouldnt everyone? But we all know thats not possible. After a short argument, Wade told me he would not take care or compensate me for his employees mistakes because he was not "informed" previous to our talk. He felt that I was blaming him for my truck having problems, but I just wanted my truck fixed right THE FIRST TIME! End of story, yuba city Toyota service is POOR and they supposably are big on customer satisfaction.

Ive had my cars serviced here numerous times. Its the only one in my town so I dont have a lot of options. Ive waited to write a review in the hopes that this place would get better but I have to write one now. I took my one and a half year old car (bought new) in for servicing today. When I made the appointment they told me it would take 30 minutes to an hour so I opted to wait in the waiting room. I mentioned that the only problem I had with the car was that the tire warning light was on. The appt was for 1:00 pm. Two hours later they finally give me my car. I dont know what they could have been working on for two hours and if they werent working on it they should have made the appt for later. Why make an appt if you arent going to work on the car at the appt time? Anyway, after giving me my car and assuring me all was well, halfway home I notice that my tire warning light is on. Now I have to go back again later this week. You might think Im being unfair; however, I previously brought my car in for servicing (Nothing was wrong with it!), left it and went shopping for FIVE hours with my daughter so I wouldnt have to wait and when I returned they hadnt even serviced it yet!!! Ive never had good service from them and I would never, ever buy a car from that dealership based on this. So be warned, dont expect much. To be fair, I have to add that the employees are nice and the building is beautiful. They have great coffee and a nice waiting area. All they need are some cots to take a nap on while waiting for an unacceptable amount of time for a minor service job.

I WAS TRICKED! To make a long story short, I agreed to write a personal check made out to Yuba City Toyota as part of my deal. The amount was significant. I was told they would not deposit the check as long as I turned in my GAP insurance check when I received it. Approximately two weeks later, before I received my GAP insurance check I noticed my personal check was deposited by Yuba City Toyota. This is where I was tricked when I made the deal. I was adamant with them before I made a deal that I did not want to put anything down. They told me to turn in my GAP insurance check when I got it and to use that as a down payment. The problem was the personal check that I wrote was significantly more than my GAP insurance check I received. I went in to Yuba City Toyota today and brought them my GAP insurance check. After conversation with one of the representatives that was part of my deal, I was told my GAP insurance check was just an "ESTIMATE" and I would not receive the difference from my personal check. This bothers me a lot because I did not want to put anything down and because of this, I ended up putting down almost 1k. Im not satisfied with my experience with Yuba City Toyota. Come on guys! This is no way to treat a local resident. Maybe I should have went to Roseville Toyota to buy my truck????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Alright look people. Crap happens. We are human. When you bring in your car, sometimes there is more than one thing causing your problem. Auto repair is a tough business with little to no thanks - its the reason I dont work in the auto industry any longer. I worked a three large dealerships in yuba over the past year. I can say without a doubt, hands down, Yuba Toyota is world class. As a service advisor, you see the "come backs" and the month and a half I spent there, they didnt have any!!! No matter what brand car you have, take it to Toyota for your routine maintenance. The lube techs are amazing! They actually torque your lug nuts and dont trust the impact like most local shops. They work as a team. They work like a nascar pit crew! They actually do a legitimate multi point inspection and dont just pencil whip it. Worst place you could take your car.... Hands down wheeler Chevrolet. I had come backs every other day. Take my advice and take your car where the lube techs actually gives a crap. I seen some crazy stuff at the other dealerships. I know where this X service writer is bringing his car. Good luck and give yuba Toyota your business - you wont regret it!

I took my older truck in to have it serviced and they were very personable and helpful. I did miss an appointment because the process took longer than they told me it would, but I think it was my trucks fault this time.. ***** June 2013 *****Id like to add to the above as I recently took the same truck back into this Toyota just for the general tune-up, oil-change and tire-rotation. They advised me that it was prudent to replace the brake pads and all that jazz...about $200 for that. I dont know if thats good or bad, but I didnt have the cash, so no can do, no biggie for now. Most importantly, they also advised me that all three engine belts needed replacing (power-steering, transmission & air conditioning). I dont have power steering. The AC unit hasnt worked for decades as far as I know. The truck is a 1984... When I mentioned politely that I have never had power steering and perhaps I was missing something...The gentleman kindly popped the hood and had to agree there was no such belt. Had I not challenged this, Im not sure if they would have charged me the $100 to replace all 3 or not. Just a heads up--they may be the best guys in the world...but do your homework. It pays.
