Pass on the Li Battery rebuilds. I had a 9.6v Dewalt drill that has been fantastic for easily 13+yrs. The batteries final couldnt hold a charge so I elected to give BPB a try. Theyve always had great customer service, and why go to Home Depot/Lowes to purchase a replacement made across the pacific when I can get one made right here. Well, about 1.5yrs later one of the batteries had a short while charging and basically fried itself. Since this is only a 9.6v I dont use this for heavy duty jobs, perhaps since the rebuild I used it maybe 5x. Knowing the warranty has expired I took it back to see if it was workmen error. Their response was it was a short due to water/moisture damage and they would rebuild it for a base price of $34.99. Working in a garage on a warm dry day I dont think so. Mind you the Dewalt batteries lasted 4yrs in the hot humid summers of Louisiana plus another 9+ here in NorCal. Overall, not impressed with the batteries. They dont hold the charge like the original Dewalt did, and obviously lack the durability. Explaining this to BPB they stuck to their cheesy warranty, at least they will dispose of the battery for you. Save yourself the trouble just hit up Home Depot/Lowes or order online as you will probably save you $ in the long run. Good luck.

Im only giving this store because the google review requires at least one star. Otherwise, I would give it 0 stars. I wont recount a big story here about the the poor, uninformed, and argumentative service I repeatedly had from employees at this store. The bottom line is that if you have a devise that needs a battery that needs continuous voltage, purchase the battery type and BRAND from a source other than Batteries and Bulbs. Employees here will try to convince you that there is no difference than the brand(s) BB carries, but this most definitely not necessarily true and you may find yourself needing a new battery within several weeks if you take the advice of BB employees, as opposed to needing a battery many months later if you stick with the manufacturers recommendations. I will never return to this store again.

I ordered a deep cycle battery online the night before and came in early (before 9am) to pick it up and it was waiting behind the counter. I told the young man working the counter that I had a core in my truck. He told me he would carry it in for me which was much appreciated. He asked if I needed anything else. I told him I was looking for a 12 volt LED screw-in bulb. He replied that they did not have them but they do have 12 volt screw-in compact fluorescent bulbs. That was news to me and I bought one. Since I ordered my battery online, I received a 10% discount which was also applied to my bulb. Nice! This is my second trip to Batteries Plus. I am very impressed with their people, prices and selection. I am setting up a solar supplement in my home, so I intend to be a repeat customer here.

Awesome service. Ordered a "not in stock" car battery online and received a "ready for pick-up" e-mail sixty minutes later. Two hours from the time of placing the order the battery was being installed in my vehicle, oh and installation is FREE ! They had a driver go pick-up the battery I ordered from the warehouse when I ordered it. P.S. - Their Duracell car batteries are manufactured in the USA by East Penn Manufacturing.

I wanted to buy as a guest so I wouldnt have to hear from you guys again and your site mislead me. the 10% discount was nice but when i had to pick it up in the store i went to go get it and the manager, cashier guy was rude and almost pushed me out the door. not a great experience and your workers need to work on their people skills.

We ordered a new battery on line and came into the store to have it installed. Everything went smoothly. We had called all around, to dealerships, garage, car places trying to find what we needed including installation. This was the only place that had it and could do it that day.
