Everyone needs to go see Eric Alvino for all your tattoo needs. A friend of mine recommended Eric after she got her tattoo and I am forever grateful to her. I have now gotten four tattoos from Eric and they are spot on and perfect. My first tattoo was a general idea I had that I told Eric about and he managed to get it on paper and then on my body perfect. It was exactly how I imagined it. I most recently went to Eric for a tattoo to honor my mother who recently passed away. I sent him over 6 emails of my "ideas" and honestly, I wouldnt have understand what I wanted and somehow when I walked in he had sketches on paper that were exactly what I was envisioning. My tattoos are vibrant, heal perfectly (when following Erics post tat care directions) and exactly what I have always wanted. Eric is very gentle with the needle which is so huge. I have gotten a 5 hour rib piece, 4 hour underarm piece and a 4 hour calf piece and he makes it easy to sit. We all know tattoos are painful but when someone is as gentle as Eric with the needle it makes it that much less painful. Eric is honest, easy to talk to and a true artist. I recommend him to everyone, anytime I can. I will never trust another person to tattoo me again after going to Eric. Honorable Society is a really great space with lots of energy. Its fun to get tattooed while watching movies, chatting with the other tattoo artists or clients. Everyone is really personable and engaging. Although I already had a couple quotation tattoos, I got my first larger tattoo here in July 2017. I really liked Rus Laichs portfolio and made an appointment with him. We did a consultation first and then the tattoo about five days later. Rus is fantastic and attentive. He promptly emailed me back when I had questions and listened to what I wanted. I would definitely go back to Rus. Others getting tattooed around me also seemed to be enjoying their artists. The vibe is laid back and the décor is amazing. Rus is a premier tattoo artist. Everyone I met was super nice and accommodating. They say hello when you walk in and make you feel welcome. They helped me find parking and called me to remind me of my appointment with Rus. This is a top tier tattoo parlor. Every tattoo that was getting done around me was amazing. This place should definitely be on anyones list hoping to get a tattoo. On a side note, I appreciate they have female artists here and doesnt have a super macho boys club vibe.

From the very start with my email to inquire about their services, everyone at The Honorable Society were prompt in response and very helpful. I was set up for a consult with Emily Effler and after some initial instagram stalking I was blown away by her talent - especially with color! Needless to say I was pretty stoked to meet her and she made the consult a complete breeze. We exchanged ideas, she gave me her expert input, and we settled on the three small pieces I wanted to get done. On the day of we went over what I wanted again briefly, she was patient with me as I requested changes to size/placement and came prepared by making several different size stencils just in case. I put complete trust in Emily for the color mixes of my first color tattoo and I could not be happier with the outcome! I will definitely be returning here and cant wait to collab with Emily on the investment piece Ive been waiting to get. She is definitely a creative color genius and so easy to work with!

My artist was Emily and this is by far the worst tattoo I have gotten in my 13 years of collecting tattoos. This woman dug so deep into my skin that it is now blowing out and scabbing. She kept carving black into my arm all the while saying "I just really love black. Its either black or nothing" which is a tell tale sign of a very inexperienced, poor artist. You can achieve the color intensity you seek without physically scarring someone, a concept this artist does not yet grasp. I do not understand how this woman has her tattoo license. Perhaps this shop has other artists that are talented and understand the fine craft that is the art of tattooing, however, that is not the perception you get if you got work done by Emily. Other than the complete incompetence of this "artist" the shop is very clean, spacious, and is quick to respond to emails. I would recommend the shop itself, but not this particular "artist"

When you see the review about "EMILY" being heavy handed and awful, DISREGUARD IT. Call me crazy, but I went in tonight and had the notorious Emily do a piece on me. I have 30+ sessions in so Im not a "my first tattoo" reviewer. Everything said in the negative review of Emily is trash. She is professional, light handed, FAST, and extremely talented. So dont let the nonsense review fool you. This shop is great, the staff is great, and dont for a second, doubt your choice to go with their shop. absolutely amazing. the shop is nice and clean and the staff is very nice. marco tattooed me for 2 session to complete my entire chest. hes not big into doing color but was very helpful and accommodating. he truly helped bring my idea to life. i couldnt be happier. if i didnt live in north carolina now, this would be my go to shop. thanks again for everything marco!

The team at The Honorable Society tattoo parlor are all terrific. I have gone back three years running to get new ink. I have always received a warm welcome and the consultation process for finalizing my designs has always been great. Everything about the tattoo parlor is really funky and comfortable and the workroom is large a well lit with a really relaxed atmosphere.

Super professional and timely. Responded quickly, and kept all appointments. Monty helped me design a tattoo that I love, with as many suggestions and revisions as i wanted. He was professional but fun, which made me feel comfortable. I get tons of compliments on his work, and I highly recommend him to everyone else!

The atmosphere is very laid back. I enjoyed admiring the decor as I waited. Josh was amazing! He worked with me to ensure my design was exactly what I wanted. He was also great about making sure I was comfortable while he worked. I wouldnt go anywhere else!
