Having checked out their site and also reviews from Google, my wife and I decided to purchase some furniture from the LA store of Modani Furniture. Alex, the sales person was very helpful when we visited the showroom and we ended up purchasing a sofa set, several outdoor furnitures, the giant carravaggio mirror, and a rug from them back in January. That was the end of anything positive from this store. The first delivery attempt, the truck broke down and had to be rescheduled. The second attempt we had many items missing, legs to one of the sofas, the rug, the ottoman to the sofa, and one of the outdoor chair. For unknown reasons, they wont get the ottoman until sometime in late June because they no longer have it in-stock. The whole experience has been complete nightmare. I can safely say that I wont be buying anything from them again.

I ordered a console table from them, paid for it (items are NOT returnable) and they promised me it would be in the store by a certain date. That date passed and they (the sales associate and the assistant manager) then tell me I can either a) drive to commerce to pick it up myself b) pay for the delivery from commerce or c) wait 2 weeks until the item is transferred from their warehouse to their store. I suggested they eat the delivery cost, have it delivered to my client, and make good on the transaction. Then the actual store manager refused to pay the measly $100 to have it delivered. Its just amateur hour in terms of service. In terms of product - well, you can judge that for yourself or read the many reviews written here.

Love this store. Great pieces at great prices and a helpful but not hovering staff. The outdoor sectional furniture we bought here is scaled appropriately for the smaller patios we city dwellers have. So much outdoor furniture is ridiculously oversized that we had almost given up on finding a set that didnt overwhelm our courtyard. Three years later, and the furniture still looks brand new. Bought all our living room leather sofas and chairs here, too, as well as our nightstands. One-quarter the price of the designer Italian stuff you find in Beverly Hills but with the same great style. You cant beat it. Convenient parking is an extra bonus.

Its my second time buying furniture with Modani and I wasnt sure what to expect at first... but I was highly impressed with the quality of the furniture. I first bought the Majestic King bed and a Mattress (Which is one of the best mattress I slept on!) and 6 months after I got the Coronado Outdoor for my back Yard. Really good for the price, I have been looking locally for over 3 months and nothing close to the price and quality they offer!...I will definitely recommend Modani to anyone, they have great modern furniture at really attractive prices and staff is really professional. Furniture is poorly made and wieghtless. We spent $4000 for outdoor furniture and now have it posted on craigslist because Modani wanted to charge us 25% restocking fee plus they wanted us to pay for return shipping. We should have trusted our instincts. Always buy furniture you can see, touch and try out. This furniture is of lesser quality than Costco comparable we saw last week. Do not buy from this company. Any company selling high end furniture should have a better return policy. The reason they do not is because they get too many returns, because the product is lousy. BEWARE

Absolutely terrible, after 1.5 years of owning a bed that cost almost $1,000 it is cracked and coming apart in 2 separate places. Customer service refuses to do anything about it and they say "sorry for the inconvenience". I would never recommend this company to anyone. Very poorly made furniture at a high price. Prior to this bed we had an Ikea bed that cost 20% of what this bed cost, it is still in good condition and being used by another member of the family. ALL THESE REVIEWS ARE OBVIOUSLY WRITTEN BY THE OWNERS...this store is full of junk, the prices look good until you actually try to sit on anything, and the staff is snotty (which is nuts, youd think theyd be nicer since theyre trying to peddle cheap goods...youre not B&B italia, guys, youre a chinese junk knockoff shop...)

The price tags arent what you actually pay...theres a delivery fee to deliver TO THE STORE. WHAT???? So if you want something in the store, you have to pay to have it delivered to the store youre standing in. Good luck. PS your furniture is tacky, and not good tacky, but triple white mercedes tacky.

Not too long ago, I came in to decorate my condo, Alex Ksenjak was very helpful and provided great customer service. I was able to furnish my place within 5 days, it looks amazing and didnt cost a fortune. I would definately recommend this store to family and friends.

Im so exited Modani is opening in Los Angeles. I had a chance to see the store in New York and its just gorgeous! Very modern furnitures, contemporary style, baroque style... and so affordable. I really like Modanis collection, especially the outdoor furnitures!

I have been looking for outdoor furniture for so long.. everything was either outrageously expensive or it looked cheap...THEN, I found Modani....their outdoor seating has made my porce look like "The W Hotel"....it looks amazing and didnt kill my pocketbook!

This place is good for super modern furniture. I found them online and was able to get a good deal on a sectional and platform bed. They have these funky chairs that I liked also. I might just have to buy those dining chairs I spotted.
