Ive added a star because they seem to be more honest about pricing these days. For a while there, every time I went, I was overcharged for one or two things. Whether its not keeping up with inventory or being shady, thats unacceptable to me. However, it seems to have improved, now. That being said, the checkers are nicer than they used to be, but when they ask you how you are...just say fine, good, whatever...and move on. They make it pretty clear theyre just asking to make a show of it. Which, again, is fine, and a vast improvement over what it used to be. I just prefer the places where theyre more conversational. Today, though, there were a few issues for me. One was that they tout a gift card based on how much you spend. What was not apparent to me was that you have to use some app to get the deal. Im not cluttering my phone with another app just to get your deal. The checker used the one he had at the register so that I would get the deal anyway. It was completely unnecessary, however, to try to convince me that he was right, and show me that I needed this app thing. When checkout people have to prove theyre right to customers...thats not a fun time for the person paying for stuff, FYI. I also went to return something that was, admittedly, over six months old, so it wasnt on my Target card anymore. It had the price tag on, but they were only going to give me back half of what I paid. I intensely dislike that. I know I should return it sooner, but with as much as I spend at Target, it gets you far more good will to just give me back my whopping $14. You can spare it, Im quite sure. Clientele issues (me venting, yes, and also warning you about what to expect if you have high expectations of well-mannered people, as I do). If youve read other reviews Ive written, you may gather that, even though its not entirely "fair"... I judge partially based on clientele. This place can be dreadful in that department. On one visit, some woman yelled EXCUSE ME at me, very rudely, (if not just plain confrontational) even though there were children milling in front of my cart. I guess she thought it was better to run them over than wait another thirty seconds. Today some jerk in the parking lot sat in his car doing... I dont know what...even though he knew I was waiting for the space. I waited a couple of minutes, then had to move on. As soon as I did, he left the space. Obnoxious. Rude. Another guy inside the store...creepy dude with his grandmother...was fully blocking the aisle. I said, "Excuse me" and smiled and waited. He looked at me and completely ignored me, popping things into grandmas cart as though they were the only people in the world. Then they snailed down the aisle as slowly as they could. Rude. Obnoxious. Those are the types of clientele I run into at this store, so I dont really frequent it anymore. On the positive side, it seems theyve stopped allowing pets in the store. Thats a huge...pet peeve...for me, even people HAVE to take their dogs shopping with them. They sell food there. Dogs arent allowed. I dont take my dog in and shop for ice cream and hang out at Starbucks inside the store. Anyway, I discovered this because a man was protesting very loudly at the door when security and an employee stopped him when he attempted to bring his dog shopping today. Well see how that goes over with the women who sneak them in in their little handbags... Its still Target, and its still appealing enough that I spend scads of cash there once in a while. I just dont do it at that one much anymore.

This Target is awesome. All the negative reviews here are because the reviewers expected a worker to personally escort and shop for them. Ive seen this one too many times at all the targets Ive been to. Depends on the time you go. Ive witnessed some guests a act like theyre royalty. The workers are there to help you, not serve you. I was at the electronics counter and a lady was screaming at the worker about not having some apple product in stock because she called earlier and they told her it was in stock. She didnt bother reserving it because this is how the world is now. Everyone thinks they are special and unique and no one else is more important. This customer thought that because she was calling they would automatically reserve one and how could they possibly run out. Well, theres other people in this world and no store carries unlimited supply of every product. She demanded that the worker find her a store that had it in stock and then complained that it was too far. She wanted it delivered to her house and actually had the nerve to ask for a discount because of the trouble Target had caused her. Wow.... Sorry Target. Youre a great corporation but you cant please everyone. Fact: people are more inclined to give feedback when theyve had a bad experience. The underlying psychology is that the person had a bad experience and wants to get even, so they write a bad review. Fact: people that have good or amazing experiences have less motivation to write a review. They got :what they wanted and dont need to write a positive review to get even.

I purchased an item at one location on Raymer St (they only had that one item and I needed more, so I asked an associate for help. She directed me to another location on Sepulveda). So I drove over to the other location to buy more of the same item. And to my surprise they were on clearance (more than 50%off). So I purchased multiples. Then I tried to return the original one that I bought for full price at the previous location, and they denied me. They wouldnt accept the return or even an exchange. Its upsetting and a huge inconvenience that they wouldnt accept my return and the only answer I got was that I had to drive back to the 1st location if I wanted a refund/exchange. Im 8 months pregnant and I dont have the time nor the energy to drive back to a target for the 3rd time in one day. Feeling annoyed and frustrated with the whole experience!

On a vacation in Los Angeles, I popped in to this Target because a) Its a two-story b) Many famous people (Shane Dawson) have visited this very Target. But without the celebrity visits, this would still be 5 stars. Lots of parking, though somewhat confusing. An abundant level of checkouts are on both stories. Youll never wait behind anybody again. As usual, Target has a large amount of sections and many options, but these options are more high-quality and efficient. Layout is also appealing. L-1 has Shoes, Accessories, Womens, Cards/Party, School/Office, Kitchen, Furniture, Bed, Bath, Home Decor, Housekeeping, Cosmetics, Personal Care & Health. L-2 has Food, Electronics, Toys, Seasonal, Cafe, Mens, Boys, Girls, Baby, Baby Care, Gifts, etc. All in all, great, clean, appealing, high-quality, and definitely recommend.

The staff is usually clueless about pretty much anything you ask them, some times you get lucky and find a staff member that actually cares about customer service and will assist you the temperature is usually too warm in there and even though the parking lot is a Three level structure you only have access to the store from the first floor or the third floor they do have elevators to ease the load but parking overall feels a bit shady and some sections are too dark and you could get robbed or your vehicle could get stolen on vandalized, not my first pick.
