Took an iPhone in that had been lightly splashed with water. Not full submersion. Not powered on or charged afterward. By all means, this is a simple mineral rinse repair. After 3 days and me trying to get status on 2nd and 3rd day am finally simply told that it cant be fixed. No reason whatsoever is given, just, it cant be fixed. Then Im told its 85.00 to pick up my cant be repaired iPhone. Really. You might mention that when dropping off the phone that the customer should be aware of these charges. Theres several places you can mail in or take your phone into easiily found on the internet that have no risk repair for water damage. They cant fix, you dont pay. When they were in the list of places to take, I didnt ever imagine their policy would be any different than their local competitors. Certainly if youre going to charge or keep someones broken phone for yourself, you better be CLEAR that this is the case BEFORE accepting the phone for repair. This is a shady place. They hang up on you when on hold. Theyre hard to reach, then when you do, youre on hold for 10 minutes before they come back and ask AGAIN what your name was. Really unprofessional. This is my assumption. That they havent even tried to fix it. If they had, they wouldve told me WHAT was wrong with it and what parts needed to be changed to repair the phone. Every part is serviceable, so whats up, whats wrong with the phone? Why wont you tell me? Isnt it up to me to decide if were going to pay to order the components necessary to repair? Horrible. Ive been in the IT service business for over 20 years. Ive had 3 iPhones other than this easily repaired from full submersion from other companies. Never had a problem ever with communication or professionalism from the other shops, and in MY business - I certainly would be clear with the client if I was expecting to charge for something I couldnt repair! Certainly I would never recommend this shop to anyone based on this experience. Meanwhile... are they listing this iPhone on ebay for parts for sale? Hmmmm....

DONT TRUST THIS PLACE!! THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES,AND WILL TAKE YOU FOR YOUR MONEY AND YOU END UP WITH A DEFECTIVE PHONE!!!!!!! These people ONLY CARE about making money and DONT CARE ABOUT the CUSTOMERS!!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CUSTOMERS ALWAYS RIGHT?? THE NEW CELL phone we purchased was DEFECTIVE and they dont stand by their word about resolving problems! Instead we found out they OVER CHARGE for their New Older model phones,and put bad batteries in a new box!!! Then they claim sometime these things happens? YEAH RIGHT!!! Then they claimed they replaced it with a new battery!! We take phone home and then it happens again the phone dies again and by this time we take it to them and they tell you they cant help you but check it out again for a few days and if it still has the problem bring it in and they will see what can be done,but they dont cuz they basically made out like a banditt,and left you with a defective phone!!!!DON" TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY OR HUMANITY!! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER OR WORKING WITH THEM EITHER!! MY GOD WHERE ARE THESE PPL FROM? HOW ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS!!! SHEEEEESH!!!

DONT GO HERE!!!! Needed my hydro elite fixed so i gave this place a call. They gave me a quote that ran at $150. They think you dont know anything about your wireless phone. I found the part i needed, which was the digitizer for $35. How are you going to charge me a labor fee at $115 for a simple fix and tell me that i need more than a digitizer when im looking right at my phone and your just listening to me describe damage over a my house phone. I do acknowledge the part is rare, and it has to come from another country but youre not going to rip me off. One place gave me $75 for the repair which is exactly all i need, which is a repair and same day digitizer replacement with a reasonable labor fee. I will be tipping this guy nicely for his honesty and work. SOS Wireless should know that the business they run requires giving out quotes and the people that are seeking quotes will write reviews on them as well. All im saying is if you give this place a call, make sure that they are not your last call. Lady sucked as well.

I took an older phone of mine there a while back with a cracked screen. All of the touchscreen activated buttons and external buttons worked before i gave them my phone. They told me that it would take about an hour to fix, 4 HOURS LATER while i am still sitting in their store, there "technician" (if you can call him that) walked out and told me my phone was really messed up and he cant fix it that day and that my touch screen and external buttons never worked in the first place. LIES! I ended up buying a new phone and had a friend of mine that knows all about building and repairing phones. He took mine apart and told me that they cut all my ribbon cables and broke all the brackets for my external buttons AND most of the internal screws were missing. If i could give them 0 stars, i would! STAY AWAY!

I went to SOS Wireless to get assistance for my cellphone. I had just bought a cellphone that uses a nano sim card. My current phone uses a micro sim. I needed help resizing the sim card to fit my new phone. I had read that I would need to cut the card down to size to fit into the new phone. I went into the store thinking I would have to purchase an adapter of some type. The store technicians looked at the new phone and found out that I didnt need to buy any adapters and the sim card fit into the new phone just fine without any adjustments. Richard didnt charge me anything for the service. I appreciated the honest help they provided.

one was a razr that i bought for mothers day. on the outside it looked brand new and it worked just fine till two days later. the screen would go all white then the thing would restart. sometimes it would restart in the middle on a conversation. next the bluetooth that i purchased with it was a motorola h500. once i got home a opened the package i discovered they sold me a European one! the charger for it was useless since i could not plug it into my electrical socket. luckily the phone and the headset used the same charger, but unless i had to, i would not go back here again for anything.

First off, the guy behind the counter had zero customer service skills.... horrible--he was socially inept! I brought in a Razor (T-Mobile carrier) hoping to figure out why my SIM card would not work with the phone... the guy said it was because the phone was dirty and needed to be cleaned= $45. I decided to hold off and visit the T-mobile kiosk in the mall.... Good thing I did, as the phone worked fine as it was!!! I had put the SIM card in backward and he knew this was indeed the case!!! Clearly he was trying to make a buck off the cell phone novice that I am. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
