Huge Place. Produce is really good as well as the deli items. Lots of the staples (eggs, milk, yogurt) is very inexpensive. I love the interesting foods you can find in here. Today it was frozen artichoke hearts for $1.29 for a bag of them. none of the pickled crap. Meat is OK for the cheap cuts, lamb, and I like the pre marinated kabobs. But the beef doesnt seem that high quality on the higher end cuts like Filet, NY Strips, Rib Eyes. Not a lot of fat marbling. Meat handling is super clean. but I feel that Wholsome Choice has better beef. you can get Prime Grade Beef there at a very reasonable price. People complain that it is crowded here. Its nothing like that hell hole Costco at the district. Aisles are very wide and it does get busy, but its no big deal. And for all the people that complain about the department store section, its not like you are forced to go there. Its almost separated anyway. I see this place as more of a grocery store anyway, so i dont even go to that section of that store. I heard this place is owned by some Arab company (so no liquor is sold) . When I think of Arabs, I think of things like Dubai , 7 Star hotels, gold plated Ferraris and stuff . I think of all the young Iranians in Irvine driving cars whose car payments would match my mortgage payment. Therefore I dont understand why this Arab company would make this place a little nice and still have the "deals", but offer some higher end items and decor like Wholesome Choice in Irvine. Wholesome choice is just so far from me.

I read some of the bad reviews and I was flabbergasted. Im glad Ive never had any of the mentioned experiences. I like their prices although their produce can be a hit or miss although cheap (I still buy some like persimmon, pomegranites and oranges), the eggrolls at the Chinese counter inside are yumtastic, the boba and smoothies at the drink station outside and I LOVE the tahchin at the cooked food place in the back (its an Iranian dish)!!!! Ask for Mohammad. Hes like the manager and he introduced me to it. I am craaaaaavvvinnnggg some now. Too bad its a good drive lol. Dont bother getting the chinese food. Its a hit and miss and its subpar for my taste (its equivalent to the usual "to go chinese food" youd get at Panda or some other Chinese place). I can make the comparison because before I used to not eat halal only meat, Ive had Panda and other chinese fast food and I dont like it. If you want good quality Chinese food, Chinese Islamic also located in OC is AMAZING! The thai food is good... The Mexican food is fine. I dont care for the Indian food. Not crazy over any of it but I do have a hard to please palette. But seriously.... The tahchin is soooo delicious. I want it so bad now. Because of the tahchin, I will give it a 5. Try it and you wont be disappointed.... Unless you dont have an international palette... Then maybe you should work on diversity :)

The butcher behind the Meat counter was extremely rude to my mom. As per rules, my mother ordered various products from the butcher after her number was called. The man behind the counter rudely(loudly/yelling) told my mom to go get another ticket for each type of meat selection. Anyone thats been to the meat section knows that its standard practice to have your order taken all at once, and doesnt require acquiring multiple numbers for each selection. I immediately was angered and asked the guy "you dont like doing your job or what?" To which the butcher replied "mind your own business". I proceeded to tell him "thats my mom, dont be rude to her". To which the guy turned around, leaned over the meat counter, and whispered "WHITE POWER". Now understandably I was outraged, and ready to jump over the counter but my mother pulled me back and lead me away. For her sake, I didnt make a scene and end up in jail. I didnt catch the individuals name, but hes a white male, light brown curly/wavy hair, has a huge beard(not Muslim style), and weighs 250-280lbs. This man works at a international grocery store owned by Muslims but he literally told me "WHITE POWER".

If youre hurting for money but still want tasty food, spices and snacks, go here, my friends! They even have coffee makers, blankets, kettles, garden supplies and pretty dresses and make up and also bath stuff! (And their dr.bronners soap bars are more affordable here than at sprouts! )My family came here on Saturday, wondering what all the hub-ub was about and were pleasantly surprised about how good it was! It was so fun to look at and their snacks are good and i like their oranges :D also i found a pretty blanket there and it was as soft as a bunny <3 (Its like Walmart, but without the trashy weirdos and the stuff in the isles and the over-priced doodads. And funner and more helpful than walmart So i guess its like indian costco? idk their rugs look cool too and i like their dress department and they have kinder chocolate which is rare and my sister loved it! oh yeah and they have a HUGE spices area and i got a lot and also they have an AMAZING deal on their fresh herbs, its like 1/3 the price you would pay at walmart <3 my only complaint is that they dont have chili pepper chocolate :( but thats ok! they have a lot of cheap, healthy foods!)

After shopping here for 2 years and falling sick I stopped going here all together. 90% of thier produce is hybrid. Their meat too has hormones. This explains why it is very less expensive here. They dont update their website promptly, dont restock up in the weekends when people usually flock up. On weekends all you get is left over bad produce after the others have purchased.Their checkout likes are huge when they have only 3-4 counters open during peak hours which makes me believe they are understaffed. They still muster the courage to put bad/rotten/over ripped produce in front of customers for less price so that instead of they throwing it away, customers buy it and throw it away at home.not to mentionthe mold on tomatoes after 2-3 days. They have little regards to their customers health.Always please check the expiration dates of anything you buy here.it will save you an extra trip to the store. Good luck shopping here.

Decent selection, they dont make good use of their space like Kings market does. So many times cashiers charge extra on the price or charge me for something I didnt buy. Makes me wonder if these are unprofessional mistakes or scams. Seriously thinking some of the cashiers or crooks. Make sure you check your receipt thoroughly on the spot, and if a price is wrong question it. If they refuse then go check the actual price because you are probably right. I only go here because they dont have competition close enough, wish Kings market would open up close by and show these guys how its done. Update: quality of the groceries has dropped significantly.

A man from meat department has no any sense of how to talk with at people. (Obviously he doesnt know how to talk with customers). He is tall white man with long beard. Hired in store from 2-3 weeks. I read previous reviews and everyone talking about that same man!! So its not just happened with me.. Im regular customer of store more than 3 year. Im regular customer from aria became ansar! I had very bad experience at store. Im not telling its not good store but only because of that man behavior would be affect store business.
