I had a bad experience here. I bought window treatments, took them home, they didnt work out and I returned them. That part was ok. But instead of crediting my American Express, they charged me again for the curtains and I didnt notice until a few days later. So, I called and after talking to 3 different people, the last one finally said it would be credited, to go in for the credit. I was passed on to 3 different people in the store, explaining the situation each time and showed them the 2 receipts. The 3rd person told me they would reverse the charge. I said but you need to now reverse 2 charges because I was charged twice for something I no longer have! It took almost months for them to figure it out, meanwhile I disputed the charge on Am.Ex. which was so much simpler, and they kept in contact with me about Aki to get them to reverse the charge. It was such a major hassle for what seemed to be a simple mistake on their part. Their credit department wasnt clear on the fact that they charged me 2 times for an item that was returned! Arrrggggghhh.

Might not be the stores problem but I got my furnitures (a table and a bed with frame) without screws necessary to assemble the table. I called the store and explained. They said it probably wasnt the stores fault but the delivery mens. They ended the call saying that they will leave a note of my number and whats happened to their customer service department, but I received no calls yet. Im sure it isnt always like this but I give one star for the reason stated above until they give us parts or find a way to fix my problem. (Update) Called the store myself again and yet the customer service doesnt call me. Very poor and slow customer service.

Ive been in the market for upgrading my furniture in our living room and after reviewing a few locations online decided that I would take a look at Aki Home. I think they have some really nice furniture and the staff at the Tustin location all seemed really helpful and not pushy. I didnt see anything in particular that I liked for my place but my taste is a bit unusual. Ill keep looking but I thought Id post a review for the excellent customer service I received while at the store. The store itself is beautiful and does carry quite a big inventory. Its located next to the whole foods and theres plenty of parking.

This store should get zero stars! They have poor customer service and cheap quality furniture, at outrageous prices. Instead of aki home, it should be renamed faki home, for the cardboard like furniture they sell. I expect this store will be out of business within a few years.

I would describe this place as a slightly prettier but much more downsized Ikea. I usually just buy the bedding from here as they are pretty nicely priced. Their memory foam pillows are amazing!

Great selection of home furnishings and kitchen items. Its a great alternative to IKEA and Crate & Barrel. Their prices are reasonable and usually have good sale prices and clearance items.
