Worst shop ever! To start off... they are the rudest people ever, back to that later. They never have parts in stock, show up when they say they are open and no one is there for 1-2 hours later. Owner says he will help you come on in, you show up and he has left the shop. Ask him questions when he is in the shop and all he wants to do is talk about his RC cars. Now back to how rude they are. Once instance, I called, the phone rang for over a minute, finally a employee answers the phone, mumbled something and hung up on me. I call back, after 2 minutes he answers, says can I put you on hold, all I wanted to ask was are you finally open today and so you have Traxxas Fuel in stock, he says I have a lot off people here right now and dont have time to help you. I said again just a quick question, do you have Traxxas Fuel in stock. Employees says yes we do. I go to the shop... guess what.. no Traxxas Fuel in stock. I said to the employee were is it, he says to me you were being really rude and pushy on the phone. Me the customer being pushy? LOL this place will be out of business in no time with jerks like that behind the counter! I will never give them my business again and hope you don’t as well. Go to Sheldons Hobbies. At least they have parts in stock and employees that won’t talk back to you and treat you like dirt!

Came looking for 4S lipos and they dont stock any... acted as if I asked them for some weapons-grade plutonium. Staff rude, clueless and too busy bickering (younger worker was super rude to older gent) to be helpful, suggested they could order from the Horizon Hobby catalog (dont need help to order that garbage), but apparently larger than 5000mAh cannot be sourced anywhere in their little world. This is not what you would expect from a hobby shop, which is supposed to be staffed by passionate and knowledgeable people who at the very least should point you in the right direction. They do have a "nice" collection of frisbees, off-brand nitro stuff and totally random hobby stuff... the only redeeming thing was a decent collection of Estes rockets and motors which are getting harder to find these days. Otherwise get with the program... 4S lipos are not some crazy things from the future!

Went for the first time today with my seven year old. Hes a well behaved kid , and on entering the store was excited to see the large model PTB by the door. When he turned and exclaimed "wow dad , look at this". He got snapped at in a loud voice "dont touch". No signs, but I would have told him not to anyway. But I teach my kid manners, and you dont snap at someone like that. And you say please. So we walked straight out. Ill buy what I was in for online and local stores will continue to fold. Bringing it on yourself one customer at a time. Manners cost nothing.

Been going there since they opened and find them to be incredibly helpful, knowledgable and willing to go out of their way to help. Todays example was helping me find the right package and the right price on an airbrush / compressor combination to replace my 40 year old equipment. Also had a 15 minute discussion with one of the staff about best practices for handling and cleaning the airbrush. Overall outstanding service, a good selection and willing to order almost anything.

Horrible the guys didnt know anything about rc world. Couldnt find oem slipper clutch for my slash. Didnt know about lipo batteries. No parts in stock! Ill just stick too my hobby town in Fresno where real hobbiest work and try too take care of u till ur satisfied not not like this one where their clueless

We used to have a Hobby Town in Columbia, MO, so I HAD to visit this location in Sunnyvale, CA. It was a smaller shop, but had an amazing variety of products, with a heavy emphasis on modelling. The staff is very knowledgeable/helpful, and prices are excellent.

Ppl work there are very nice and I found what I need. They have plenty of different brand paint for models and a great variety of modeling supply for your diorama build. Theres a few gundam, lots of tamiya cars military tank and airplane.

Nice hobby shop with a good mix of RC helis, planes, cars... Also stocks models and rockets plus other cool science items including some arduino electronics. Staff is very nice and knowledgeable.

Good selection of tools and paints. Quite a lot of Testor paints and model master. Somewhat limited in Tamiya paints and finishing products. Do not stock Gundam. RCs, Planes, Trains, and Boats.

Great hobby store. Friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff. They have a good selection of models as well as RC. If you need a part, they probably have it.
