I just lost trust in them now as they can lie straight to your face. I have been there 1-2 times and went again today [14 June 2014]. There was a new [to me] guy today. They advertise they give an Indian DVD for 50$ or more. They also have some points program. Today he told me they are mutually exclusive although it is not in their receipt and I have used both earlier at least once. If they can lie just for this couple of dollar item, they can lie and cheat about any of their goods. It is not about few dollars but the trust. We just cant bring ourselves to trust them again with this kind of liar running their store. They just lost our business.

I get all my groceries from Coconut Hill. My experience has been very good. We have been going to this store since the last 6 yrs. Fresh vegetables are available always and if not displayed on the shelves you can request at the cash counter and they will get you fresh vegetables if they have it. Prices are reasonable unlike India Cash Carry or Laxmi Bazaar. Customer service is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, I have not tried any of their in house curries or snacks.

Decent small neighbourhood Indian grocery store. Nothing exceptional about it though. Its handy if you live near to the place. I used to go there whenever I needed to grab something real quick, instead of taking the drive to Madras Groceries. Now that I have moved, I would probably not be going there anymore, and I think Ill not be missing it. And well, though I never used, they have some kind of offer for free Tamil/Telugu DVDs if you spend more than $25, I guess.

This place is quite small and located slightly interior from the main road (El Camino real). I have been to this place for couple of times only for green leafy vegetables (They get fresh greens on weekends, check with them before you go to their store). You will be quite surprised to get some of the rarest indian vegetables in the bay area will be available here sundaikai, neetharam palam, valarai keerai)

Last Sunday night (July 20 2008) I picked up chicken briyani from Coconut hill in Sunnyvale. After I got home I found out that it was spoilt so I called the store to complain. The person who answered the phone refused to accept it and said that it was not possible to be spoilt. So, I suggested that I bring it to the store right away. After which he offered me a refund the next time I visit the store.

The man who does the food orders was stocking (and checking for upcoming orders). He took the time and intetest to help locate spices for thukpa including the fresh tumeric. It was somewhat late on a Sunday evening yet the store was busy with pretty much all Indian customers, except for me.

My favorite grocery shop. You can buy fresh grated coconut here. Order when you enter the shop, and you will get it before you finish shopping. Organic pulses, good quality south Indian ingredients , Kerala banana, drumsticks, banana leaf, almost everything is available here.

Though there are enough Indian grocery shops around, this one stands out with collection of rare kerala style masala, pulses and other items. Vegetables are also fresh. If youre a malayali/love kerala dishes, stop by when you get a chance.

They sell shredded coconut here. But it costs double of a regular coconut. Vegetables are fresh here and groceries cost almost the same as other stores in Sunnyvale. Parking could be limited at times.

Very neatly maintained store! One of the best stores among all the stores that I visited in terms of cleanliness, fresh vegetables and varieties of items you get. Very friendly shopkeepers! Liked it.

Helpful staff. Standard issue Indian Grocery. No prepared hot food that I saw but overall a lovely spot. Staff is quite friendly. Selection is reasonable. Prices seem about right for the area.
