I have had dealings with this store in their firearms department. For a while I used to buy ammunition from them when it was on sale. Then I tried to buy a shotgun and suddenly I get the worst service Ive ever seen. I fill out the form to buy the gun. Suddenly the employee announces that I answered one of the questions wrong, blatantly makes up a law on the spot that Im not allowed to fill it out again and that the store is never allowed to sell me a gun again. Didnt even say what I marked "wrong" (which is because I didnt, he was lying through his teeth). So I relent and end up leaving. I may never know why he felt the need to make up a bunch of BS in order not to sell a gun to me. Maybe he hates the idea of younger people buying guns. Maybe he didnt feel like doing the paperwork that day. Maybe he just didnt like me. But none of those things are an excuse for him to do what he did. And I heard Im not the only one they have done it to. Generally if youre under 40-50 you cant buy guns here. Period.

Sunday October 5th went to the Sunnyvale store to inquire about a fishing license. The lady cashier on duty gave me all the information about the license, when it expired, what the license was good for. She was proficient in filling out the lengthy form on the POS system and recognized that there was line forming behind me. She the called for back up to handle the line while she finished my license application and gave information about carrying the license and that it was not heat tolerant and not leave it in hot location. Kudos for the Sunnyvale store for hiring and training their customer service representatives. Hope that you take care of them as well. Theron

The customer service is very bad theres a lady her name is melissa supper rude I asked her couple time fitting room key she never give and also when you ask anyone for help they dont give you the items you want . The guy who works on shoes section Hope the owner change them all I wish I could give rating under one star

I went there to buy a shoes for my son, the guy who help me that day he wasnt not nice at all, he had very bad attitude. I went the Oder day I saw a woman I ask her for help nicely and she walk away she not even answer me. The prices are good but costumer service is very poor.

Hard to find the customer service personal. When they do start helping you its their breaktime. I still manage asking the other customers. But they carry everything starter material for every local sport played here. Cant find all size, but wait for sales if you can.

Called in to check stock on an item, confirmed it was available. I mentioned I would be in the store in 30 mins. Takes the mgr to be there to sell this item. He left. Didnt purchase, went to competitor and bought 45 mins later. Poor customer service.

I visited several times this big 5. They offer the cheaper price and product are not so limited. However, I do not visit anymore because of the pathetic attitude of employees. Recommended only to people who want to shop at affordable prices.

Overall, it was a good place, but the workers didnt really know what they were doing and I dont think they were specifically assigned a position most of them were just walking around but it wasnt bad service.

Best value for your money. Ive been shopping here for decades. Tightly packed store but easy to navigate. Less selection but good value on shoes. If your size is not here, ask about their other stores.

Went here trying to find some cross trainers - shoe selection isnt that great, but did manage to find a pair that worked well enough. Overall the store feels pretty junky for some reason.

Dont expect customer service if you are buying shoes, the employees are much more concerned with who is playing on the radio. I do not think there is a manager either...
