I know this is a chain store but, it seems like a big "Mom and Pop" because of the nice demeanor of the staff. The cashier greets you as you enter and if any staff walk by you, they offer to help find things. I pop in a few times a year and always seem to score on a particular brand of shoe for my big boys. Ive gone searching for little things, (replacement items from camping gear), and usually find a "must have" item I didnt know I needed. I hit this store first when looking for any gear for kids winter activities and summer time, too.

Great selection of affordable sporting goods. Its amazing the difference on pricing from the major sport retailers and big 5 for basically the same items. Expect to pay almost half the price for most things. I now try to come here first if I need something. Too many times have I bought something somewhere else to find similar here for wayyyy less. Thanks Big 5!

I went to pick up my firearm at the exact time and date they told to come and they wouldnt release it to me. I am pretty sure the wait policy is 10 days not 11.

Nice selection of apparel and sporting arms. Offer gun safety testing. Very nice staff. Verify age several times when buying ammo and arms, including airsoft.

Prices are a little high but sales items are plentiful. Staff are friendly and not overly attentive but very knowledgeable behind the weapons counter.
