I have had two great experiences at this location this month. I am new to the area and wanted to get a good bike to ride some of the local trails. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped me choose the right bike. I found one I liked and took it on a test ride. The price on the bike was far under any internet or competitor price on anything comparable as far as I could tell (I went to about 6 different bike stores in the area to do my research). The second good experience was with the bike repair shop. I had purchased a lower-end bike years ago, and it was in need of serious work (brakes and derailleurs were both screwed up). The front derailleur had a cross-threaded nut which I couldnt remove on my own, so I decided it was time to let the pros take a look. The techs ended up having to cut the pin to remove the nut, but they found a replacement pin and installed it for no extra charge. They called me before making any changes that would cost extra to be sure I approved (they had to replace a cable that was fraying). I rode the bike home, and it works better than it did when I bought it. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff (I get a friendly greeting every time I walk in the front door) and their workmanship and pricing. I highly recommend giving Any Mountain your business if they have what you are looking for.

I really like Any Mountain but Ive never had a good time in this store. Employees are distracted or fairly unhelpful. On my last trip the Burton rep was in the building so the sales man would only show me burton products and was hesitant whenever I would ask about a different brand. I had a hard time asking questions in general, because he was just trying to talk to the burton rep the whole time. Just made me feel uncomfortable. I have gotten amazing service at the Fremont location and I took my business to them. I know its all the same company but it helps one store hit their daily goals.

I needed some hard-to-find parts to repair my Flow bindings. Ive bought a lot of snowboard stuff at this store, but not the bindings. In fact, Any Mountain has stopped carrying Flow bindings so I was amazed that Dan (I hope Im remembering his name) invested so much time in finding some bolts and pods that will allow me to ride until I find the official Flow parts. Not only did he find some parts that almost worked, but he machined them down until they did work. You dont find service like this very often, and you can bet Ill return to Any Mountain when Ive got snowboarding money to spend.

Large showroom, large selection, lot of employees who are always willing to help, low prices. Their email campaign always has several coupons and staff is always willing to save you some more bucks. I have shopped at this store for almost 13 years now and I like the store a lot. It has gone through two management changes, but this current one seems the best.

Quality and services do not match against their expensive rental rate. They charged much higher rate compared with other bay area ski rental shops, you can also get cheaper rate at the ski rental shops at Lake Tahoe.
