Gardens of Time: Great potential ruined by Playdom greed. This is a very good game that appeals to females more than males. There is a hidden object element as well as designing your own garden. Good graphics. Very expensive to buy premium items and chapters, and not all players have the same pricing and playing conditions. The problems are the continuing glitches that spoil the playability of the game. One problem eventually gets fixed and another appears. Players have gold bars taken away, and these are mostly obtained by buying them with hard earned cash, this glitch has been going on for months. Glitches that are a disadvantage to Playdom are fixed overnight. The only way to report a problem is to put in a support ticket, and often the only response is a generic email saying they will look into the problem, sometimes not even that response. Lost gold is never admitted as their fault, but maybe returned as a "customer service" after several contacts with them. The designers keep trying to introduce new things before they get the basics working properly. Rules and methods are changed with little or no notice to players. Level 90 is the highest level to achieve at the moment and many players have been on this level for months. Last time they extended it from level 70 to level 90, many players with their current score shot to level 90 and have been there ever since. The latest saga is Crystal Chapters have been introduced, where two forms of energy are required to play. Crystals are needed to play a hidden object scene, build items and upgrade buildings. These crystals have a daily ration for those requested from neighbors. Ones that fall in gameplay vary according to whatever invisible level of player you were assigned when first starting the game. Making this difficult to play Playdom hope we will buy the needed crystals. Many players have left the game because of the last straw with these chapters. Many others are just hanging on. A lot of begging from neighbors is needed to progress in this game. Today many players have joined a 24 hour boycott, not playing the game in anyway to show our dissatisfaction with the way players are treated. We are customers, and customer service is poor.

Playdom and its creators, not to mention Disney, which bought the corporation once it hit big time, have made oodles of money on some great online games, such as Gardens of Time, Sorority Life, etc. Along the way, however, it has lost any semblence of quality control it once held, has hired a bunch of bots to handle customer service, and created a huge community forum wherein thousands and thousands of people post thousands of thousands of complaints about shoddy design, bugs which never get fixed, billing problems, fraud, and associated problems. You have to try really, really hard to be as callous and indifferent to your customers as Playdom is, and really, really arrogant to continue to create and promote games that are bug-ridden to the extent that they shut down your own servers, paralyze facebook pages, and outrage people all over the world. I wonder if you have to take special classes for it?

Gardens of Time Review: Player Beware! Play at your own risk. This game is not on an equal playing field for all its players. This game is also loaded with ongoing glitches and lockouts that impede and halt your progress. Playdom takes 48+ hours to correct any current ongoing glitch and then within a few days another one strikes. I do not recommend this game or company. I personally play Gardens of time on face book. I strongly recommend you look for another game by another company.

Gardens of Time... This is a game with incredible potential. The graphics are beautiful. The game is challenging, yet easily understood. Unfortunately, this game is NOT living up to its potential. It often takes the developers weeks to fix a glitch, if a glitch is ever fixed at all... and customer service is all but nonexistent. The concerns and desires of the players are routinely ignored by Playdom. This review by NoahVail - Feb 17, 2012

Terrible customer service. Blatant favoritism to individuals with connections at the company.
