My name is Margaret woods, I went to pep boys today in Simi Valley (this was not my first experience with this store) and received assistance from Victor at the service desk and Richard inside the auto parts store. I cannot say enough good things about these young men and this Pep Boys location as a whole, exceptional!! For all of you individuals who are looking for an honest, respectful and knowledgeable team of professionals to work on your automobile, I highly recommend you head to this location immediately! I have recommended this location to several friends and family members and they have all had positive experiences. Please note: today i was looking for tires and stopped at Costco.. was ..quoted $640.00, then went to Mexicali Tires on LA Ave. $180 x 4 for used tires. Thank goodness for Pep Boys who beat them all by a long shot! You guys are amazing.

This Pep Boys is terrible - Rarely have anything in stock other than general fluids and cleaners (or at least thats what they tell me whenever I go in - It seems more to me that the staff doesnt care to deal with customers), Overcharge on services and are pretty bad with scamming you when you go in for service (dont acknowledge current promotions or deals off - try to mislead you about what is wrong, so that you let them change out something else at an exorbitant price and still need the original service you came in for). Go there when you need to buy some coolant, a cleaner or maybe a small part that you can change yourself (if you have a couple days to kill - they usually have to order parts) - dont trust the service department to not try to scam you.

Was having issues with my fuel regulator, causing my car to stall or not start at all. I barely made it to the shop as Ive been told they offer free use of their scanner. Couldnt get a reading off my car so I left it overnight. Today I was informed of the issue and they were very professional with work and customer service and straight to the problem. Completely hassle-free; the worse part of this experience was being placed on hold over the phone, which was no longer than 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend their services and will continue to do business with them in the future.

I called in about 30 minutes ago after my tire became flat and they told me to come in they can put on my spare tire for free. After waiting ten minutes they came to the counter only to tell me they need to charge me ten dollars to put a spare on...way to show loyalty to people who have been coming to this exact location for over 5 years...safe to say they lost my business and anyone else I know. Good job Pep Boys! This is 2017 not 1970...you are responsible for your actions..

I can not believe that this store has lasted so long. Everyone around here knows how useless the employees are, they seem like the customer is bothering them when asked for help. If something has to be looked up in the computer (only after their long drawn out sigh) they let you know that this is ruining their day. Its typically wrong anyway and it takes two weeks to get it. Yet people still shop there. Why? Ill never know.

Came here for the first time because I needed a full synthetic oil change, and they were one of the few places open on Sunday. Turned out to be a lot cheaper than the place I normally go to. Staff seemed friendly and knew what they were doing. Without telling them they were able to find issues my previous mechanic had also brought up (so I know they are thorough in checking the car). Ill definitely be back again

I ordered a part with them and paid for it. The told me they had the part in stock at another location and that is should take 5 days to come in. Two weeks gone by and they still did not have my part nor had any idea when it would come in. To find out they never actually had my part. The manager did not care and made no attempt to try to find my part. I will never come back nor recommend them to anyone.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon for a engine light check. The manager assured me that they could test my July 1995 Nissan Maxima. The manager recommended I bring it in Sunday morning before 9am. After waiting an hour for a test the service tech. Told me that they cant test cars that are 1995 and older. I highly recommend you DO NOT service your car there.

Horrible horrible horrible service every time I have come here. They are rude and disrespectful! Today I have decided never to give them my business. They told me I dont need an appointment when I called yesterday, and now they are saying they cant take my car in till Monday for a simple oil Change. They are so rude.

Took a 1994 Toyota Celica that needed rear drum brakes replaced. I spent several hours on them previously and could not get the drums off. They spent over 3 hours on it, fixed it perfectly, and charged me $100 for the service. I would definitely recommend Marcos and his crew anytime.

This Pep Boys did oil service on my wifes Civic. Of course they tried to up sell on multiple services including radiator flush. These goofs left the radiator cap open. Caused it to over heat, warp the head and cost us about $1800 and never accepted responsibility.

They did work WITHOUT my authorization...without even giving me an estimate! After they said it was fixed I drove the car home and it broke down. To be fair, they did refund some of my money but the overall experience was horrible.
