Great place. In my opinion, the only real NY bagel in LA. Handrolled and boiled. Also, amazing Bialys, just like you get back east…oniony and just the right texture. They get their lox from Acme in Brooklyn and also have great coffee. On top of the great bagels, the owner is friendly and they also have a little stage where live music sometimes takes place. A great addition to Ventura Blvd and LA!! By the way, I saws some negative reviews posted 2 years ago or more. This is a new owner and a totally different operation where, I agree, there used to be a very mediocre place.

Great vibration to the setting. It feels like home and the staff is a huge part of its culture. Im feeling at ease and in a safe zone. The guy who took my order explained to me what makes the place a healthy choice to dine at and enjoy some fresh cofee. He even gave me a discount for my first time here. My day shall be eve greater now after my stop at the NY bagel cafe.

Place is good! They have a lot of stuff to chose from on the menu including bagels, bread, egg sandwiches, meat and veggie sandwiches, salads, soup, coffee, fresh green and fruit juices, and a lot of other drinks to chose from. They also have lox and a large variety or cream cheeses that you can purchase separately too. The people are very nice too:)

This place was amazing! This place has the best coffee Ive ever had, and it has a nice, friendly atmosphere. The service was incredible and you almost feel at home. Also, the bagel sandwiches were incredible as well, and theres also complementary alkaline water! Im definitely coming back.

These bagels are overpriced and stale at best. The lox spread is below average, and the meat products are microwaved. Not nearly enough cheese to make my bacon egg cheese bagel enjoyable. I will not be returning.
