I have been a customer at this apple store since it opened and always found the treatment adequate if not great. Today, I was at the store, having been sent there by icare tech support, for a replacement of my iphone, which has been heating up and having battery problems. I was initially assisted by Dillon Menefee, who told be the tech support people I had spoken to was probably wrong and that he could help me fix the problem and that no replacement phone was needed. He had me completely wipe the phone and re-initiate it, repairing whatever was wrong and told me to sync it back to my itunes rather than restore from a back up. We did that and the phone was still hot and had lost approximately 1/2 its initial charge about 15 minutes after the restart.. (from about 50% to about 30%). He told me that was normal and I should go home, if I was still having trouble, I could come back and they would try something else. This is was not acceptable to me. I had spent time traveling to the store, waiting for assistance even though I had an appointment, almost an hour playing with the phone and the tech, demanded they replace the phone. A manager was called, Joan Slhucka, Senior Manager. Aside from telling me I was "aggressive" she found cause to refute my basic claim, tell me it was in some way my fault, as evidenced by my having had a similar problem with another iphone, let me know that, since only 1 in 600 iphones had a problem, I couldnt possibly be having one. Bottom line, they, after over an hour, offered me a replacement. In taking the replacement they intended to void any warrantees, express or implied and that I would not be permitted to make any further claims. Naturally, I refused the offer. Next, they offered to replace the phone without that agreement being entered into an electronic data base. I accepted that offer. Dillion came back with a new phone and a document stating that "repairs" had been preformed and that I was satisfied, releasing them from any further liability. I attempted to document that no repairs had been made, that a replacement had been offered and that I would not release them of their warrantees as expressed the extended care plane which I bought with the original phone. I still have my old, hot, dead battery iphone, which, apple tech support tells me I can take to the Apple Store in Glendale and exchange. On the way to Glendale, I intend to stop at the phone store and buy an android, see if it will do what I need done. If so, my company will switch. One way or the other, I will never set foot in that store again and I recommend that no one else does either.

Horrible customer service. They passed me through seven people. After already, leaving another store of Apple because of total incompetence. Total, Do Not Hear Customer, only self. After moving on to third store, cause product so damn good or theyd be dead in water, as I need computer. Nightmare headache, mostly arrogant, incompetence. Will now not buy phone that I could have. Not only this, escalated to their Customer Relations, who in saying they will make up for it is a complete flake. Called outside work hours once, after previous email, then said closing case. What happened to email? Would it mean following through thoroughly and getting job done? Making it up to me, by drilling me for another few hours of chasing their mouse. Ark. Some help. A total PAIN. HORRIBLE. And I love Jobs and Woz and Product. They are NOT being represented well and I hope it is not a sign of Apples demise. Ive asked for President of Customer Relations. So far no response. Whoever is training or hiring needs to restructure and see the deal first hand.

I bought a i pad 3 months ago $700 and the first week i had it it stoped taking a charge ir would not turn on and it just went away . This happened 2 more times and the final time it happened it stopped working all together. I took it to the appel store and they said they needed to send it out even tho i had a one year warranty. Well it came back and nop they cant do anything for me because of a little dent in the corner of the i pad , wich had nothing at all to do with the i pad not charging, The dent was a month ago and its been working fine nothing had happened , the not taking a charge was before and aftr the dent , pretty much this is their way out of not covering or standing behind their product. When i went to the store to pick up the i pad they were rude and dont honor their word or warrenty, they will lie to u and sell the products and not stand behind them. I have lost all respect for appel , and belive me this will catch on they will go down for cap like this , Im getting an attorney ,

I had an excellent experience with this Apple Store recently! I felt the need to leave a review because there are a lot of bad ones. I have a 2011 MacBook Pro and all of a sudden I started having problems. Long story short, I needed a new Logic Board (apparently Apple recalled the 2011 MacBooks because of this and I had no idea). So because of the recall Apple said they would fix my Logic Board for free. Awesome! I also told them I wanted a new battery because I know it needed to be replaced soon, so that was going to be $125. Three days later my laptop is ready for pickup. Once I get there they show me my laptop and everything is working great and my hard drive wasnt reset (thank goodness). He told me the service was free of charge. I was stunned I didnt have to pay for the battery! But I didnt ask questions haha. I left the store an extremely happy camper. I couldnt have asked for better service or a better outcome. I recommend these guys!

Very bad experience with the service department. I took my iMac in for repair - a broken headphone jack. They had to replace the entire logic board and in the process the technician broke the bluetooth antenna for the computer, which they then had to replace. Once I had the computer back in my office, i noticed the Thunderbolt jacks were properly aligned, so I couldnt connect to my media. In addition, the wireless bluetooth keyboard and mouse constantly drop connection (full battery charge). I suspect the antenna that was reinstalled was done so incorrectly, or a faulty model. The computer also has a 35 second lag (grey loading screen) when waking from a deep sleep. An issue that has occurred since the computer was repaired. Overall, Im very disappointed in how many issues have occurred.
