I LOVE Vanilla Bakeshops cupcakes. They are way better than the overrated Sprinkles or Crumbs, plus they do all their flavors in mini versions so you can sample more kinds without the guilt! Their frosting is SO good, not achingly sweet. The cake is not heavy or dense, its very light (and way better tasting than nearby Yummy Cupcakes). Some people are saying they are dry, but theyre not, they are just not as oily and wet as some other cupcakes. The decoration looks so professional and almost artistic, unlike some other places that just smear the frosting on the top. I go here all the time, I just cant resist it if Im in the area.

I started going to Vanilla Bake Shop after I eat 9 minis at a wedding in January 2008 - they were too good to not eat :) I continued to taste cupcakes from various spots in LA, but nothing compared to Vanilla Bake Shop - the taste, texture, light sweetness, flavor - always perfect! I ordered about 5 dozen for my wifes 30th birthday and created a beautiful cupcake display - everyone loved the display and the cupcakes! I am now in Northern California and have a tough time finding a place that compares. When I was visiting family in LA in 2012, my wife and I took a quick mini date and the first thing we did was head here :)

Finally a tiny piece of Europe in ca. But authentic and true French Viennese Italian combos. So fresh so French so beautiful. Perfect little corner to get away and forget that you are in US over a great latte or cappuccino and the most amazing croissants. I cant believe I stumbled upon the place accidentally and hadnt heard of it before. Everything is a feast for the eyes from the decor to the pastries, though pricey. If youre in the area and want coffee and sweets look no further or if you want to grab a box for later, they stay fresh as a Togo.

We had our mini cupcakes from Vanilla Bake Shop for our wedding. We had 4 different kinds of flavors and all of them did not fail to give a smile on everyones faces when they had them. The strawberry shortcake that was on top of the tier (for cutting) was YUM! They delivered the cupcakes and tier on time. They beautifully arranged the tier from the flowers that was provided for them. Only hassle was the return (after the wedding day) of the very heavy tier or well get a $50 dollar late fee. Overall, highly recommended. A+++++++

Marie, the owner of Paris Connection Bridal, was extremely helpful to my daughter, Heather, and me when we contacted her about a wedding dress.We highly recommend this bridal boutique if you are looking for a wonderful customer service experience, and someone who is very sincere and wants you to be happy. Delicious cupcakes with great ambience and staff. I love getting their cupcake babies as a snack for my team at work. I highly recommend getting a mix and trying them all (just ignore the calories :P). Make sure to try any cupcakes that have a filling in them...they are amazing. The only thing I am glad of: I no longer live around the corner, which means I dont get tempted nearly as much by addictive nomz.

This adorable bake shop is family run.... and very tasty. It is clean and bright inside and the sweets are palatable and pretty. The vanilla bean chocolate cupcake is amazing. Its smooth buttercream frosting is blended to perfection with just the right amount of sweetness. The key lime cupcake is also unique and phenomenal! I have many more to flavors to try from the vanilla bake shop.....keep them coming!

Great customer service and I went in there because I heard they had Gluten free red velvet cupcakes on Fridays! They had cute St Patricks Day decorations on them and I got three mini cupcakes! Super good cupcakes, very rich. I wish theyd have more flavors or flavors not just on Friday! The macaroons are also Gluten free so maybe Ill have to give them a try next time!

Um Yaaaasss. So worth the wait! The donut is so fluffy and yummie. We got the big donuts and was around $6. The line was long and took awhile since there was only one cashier. I would say that it was worth standing in line for the first time experience but I prob wouldnt wait next time Im craving them.

I love this store. The cupcakes are the best and the owner, if she is there, will always be happy to tell you a story about it. Been here for more than 3 years and enjoy always the Red Velvet. Pricing is fair, the cupcakes fresh and the staff friendly.

Not only is VBS the best bakery in LA, but they do weddings! They did the cupcakes for my wedding, and they were 100% perfect. Amy and Jeremy Berman are so sweet, professional, and aim to please. I would highly recommend!
