After having dinner on Sawtelle, a couple friends and I decided to grab dessert at B Sweet since it was nearby. The shop itself is pretty small, but hard to miss with the shop name lit up in string white christmas lights. The shop had a hipster vibe with rustic wood paneled walls and different fonts on their menu on the wall. The shop specializes in bread pudding mostly. My friends and I decided to get 4 different flavors, so we can just share amongst ourselves. However, the workers are very nice and will give you a small sample of each flavor if you ask for it. The bread pudding comes in 2 sizes: Being Good ($4) or Being Bad ($6). You can also add a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream (+$1), Whipping Cream (+$.50), or Drizzle (+$.50). My friends and I ordered the Salted Caramel, Red Velvet, Glazed Donut, and (featured) Speculoos Bread Pudding, each with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the Being Good size. Salted Caramel: not as salty as I imagined; more like a warm caramel bread pudding Red Velvet: tasted like a warm red velvet cupcake Glazed Donut: tasted like warm mushy Krispy Kreme donut Speculoos: BEST ONE; cookie butter flavored bread pudding The four of us werent able to finish half of the bread pudding. Next time, I would share a Being Good with another person.

I came to B Sweet Dessert Bar after seeing a promotion and wanted to try what they had to offer. I didnt want to make a pig of myself so I chose the item I felt was their signature, the halo. The "halo" is an ice cream sandwich that uses a donut for bread. It is not bad, it is good actual, very sweet, just not popping out at me flavor good. Your mileage may vary. They have other things to eat. It cost me $5. I just felt that their menu was over rated when I sampled it. The place is small. The decor is a quaint retro and popular culture vibe. Parking was Difficult. You will have to pay. I would not go out of my way, again, to go here. I would not recommend for anyone to. If its very convenient for you to try it out and you are feeling trendy for desert Id say try it once. Other then that, you can by ice cream and pie instead.

Incredible! Their staple "bread pudding" was absolutely delightful! I wasnt sure what to expect of it, as it sounded a little strange, but I couldnt get enough of it after ordering it! I got it with a topping of vanilla ice cream, which was the perfect complement to the cookie dough flavor that the bread pudding inside had. I also got the cookie monster, which was very yummy as well. I love all of the desserts here! I cant wait to come back and try more of them. The interior is well lit and has a very warm, comfortable vibe to it. Theres simplistic wooden benches outside to sit on, and some stools inside. Theres also a cute little wooden wall with string lights on it for some aesthetic photo shoots, if youre in the mood! I loved this little dessert place and the area around it! Ill be back!

This place is AMAZING! Its such cool spot, with an epic concept. They only serve bread pudding and as a huge bread pudding fan myself its pretty great, super close to heaven. So everyday the flavors change so you never know what youre gonna get (life should be a bread pudding shop not a box of chocolates). I think the regular flavor is the salted caramel so I think thats something you can get everyday. Which, by the way, is delicious I tend to go for that one. But all the other flavors are pretty great too. They also have some other stuff like brownies, cold brew coffee etc. All around a pretty great place. Awesome location, super kind staff. Delicious dessert.

Yum!! Ive seen B Sweet on Sawtelle for a while now and always had it in the back of my mind to give it a try! Came here for dessert after a late Friday night dinner and sadly, they were sold out of the banana chocolate bread pudding we wanted to try!! So we consoled ourselves and got the speculoos instead with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Really very very good! Comes out warm and the ice cream had a drizzle of speculoos butter on top! Not too sweet, the ice cream goes GREAT with the bread pudding! Definitely coming back to try other flavors, but definitely earlier in the day before they sell out :P The place was still busy at 10:20pm!

B Sweet has lots of different offerings, but the main thing theyre known for is their bread puddings. They have over 40 different varieties and feature 6 each week. Add to this ice cream, milk shakes, off the hook brownies, banana bread, donuts with ice cream (called Halos here) and calamansi pie (think something like Key Lime). Prices are reasonable for these amazing treats - about $5 to $10. The bread puddings are served in fancified Chinese take-out boxes and you can trick them out with extra sauce or ice cream. Today I had Glazed Donut bread pudding ala mode. It almost put me in a diabetic coma!

This is one delicious location..if youve never tried, ask for a sample..Ive had just about every bread pudding flavor. Yet today, I was introduced to the "Kentucky Bourbon!" My stomach said yes, add whip cream and French vanilla on top..What a treat. The ambiance is as sweet as the name and desserts.. Its tiny, tucked in between tons of businesses on Sawtelle. Great customer service and hardly any wait time, unless you order the Halo Halo..seating inside and out..great for kids as well, minus the Bourbon pudding.

This place is great! It is a fun date place that is different than the normal yogurt or boba places around. Their desserts are generous and delicious. There is often a long line but it moves quickly. The people who work here seem to be fun and enjoying their jobs even though it can get crowded. The menu changes regularly so you might want to follow them on social media. And watch out for their odd hours. They are closed Monday and Tuesday and close early on Sunday.

The concept is amazing, a bread pudding bar! The execution is somewhat disappointing. We tried the chocolate banana bread pudding, which comes in a cute takeout box. The bread pudding was covered in an overly sweet caramel sauce that lacked depth. The bread pudding tastes like moist pound cake from the store. Not bad, but not amazing. It doesnt have any deep chocolately notes and I couldnt taste any banana. Basically, it tasted sweet and not much else.

With so many restaurants on the multiple blocks of Japan Town, its nice to have almost as many options for dessert. B Sweet is a great spot for bread pudding which for some may sound unappetizing, but its a great mix between cake and cookie. Add ice cream to the mix and you will hit that level of overeating guilt in no time. They also offer coffee which may be a bit on the overpriced mark, but depending on who you ask, is worth every penny.

The Food here is Delicious! Its a shared plate concept so trying a little bit of everything is a must! The charred Octopus, the Kalbi Style short ribs "lunch plate" and the banana bread pudding were my favorite, the guava tres leche is also divine. Service is Amazing, the ambiance is perfect for a night out with friends or an intimate date night. Dont forget to order a specialty cocktail, without a Tres is my favorite.
