DO NOT SHOP HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I just had the single worst customer service experience of my life at Cellular Gallery located at 1608 Santa Monica Boulevard. On Monday the 13th, three days ago, I brought in an iPhone 6 with a cracked screen. They provided me with the quote of $139.99 to fix it. I thanked them and decided to do some price comparisons, but as I walked out the clerk said “Make sure they use real parts! A lot of places will just glue on cheap material and it won’t last as long. We use the exact same manufacturer’s glass to replace it. So wherever you go make sure they use the real thing and they don’t just glue it on.” I said thank you and stepped out. I thought about it and felt it was a nice gesture for the clerk to try and ensure I got quality service wherever I ended up, and that coupled with the convenience of already being there I decided to just go with these guys. I should have followed my instinct and researched first. Their Yelp account alone reflects an unenthusiastic public reception. I gave them my phone and picked it up later that day. With taxes the total came out to $153.64. They didn’t mention a warranty - I asked about it. At which point they said “Oh yeah, 30 days, one month you can bring it back any problems.” Great, fine. Exactly two days later on the 15th (yesterday), my phone slipped out of my pocket while I was in a kneeling position petting a dog. The phone fell, in a case, about one foot to the ground. Not only did the screen shatter, the screen actually physically popped out. Everyone nearby was completely shocked at the damage as it had only dropped about one foot to the ground. I was really surprised, but not worried because they had ensured me they did the exact same process with the exact same material as the manufacturer. Clearly some small error occurred when they fixed it as that amount of damage would never have occurred normally after a drop of such little distance. I was not worried at all. I would have gone that night, but they closed before I got home from work that evening. This morning, 6/16, three days after they supposedly fixed it with the same process and same materials at the manufacturer, they absolutely refused to assist at all. They refused to claim any responsibility at all for their shoddy workmanship. Furthermore – and this is the best part – they changed their story several times. The two gentlemen who appeared to have seniority in the shop said it wasn’t the same as Apple materials, then it was, then when I confronted the clerk who assisted me initially (who wouldn’t make eye contact the entire time) said he told me he said it was the same material because he was told to say it was. But apparently, now it wasn’t again. Which is it? They would neither refund me nor fix the screen that they supposedly fixed three days ago. Their warranty, like their workmanship, is worthless. In store replies to the negative comments on Yelp they indicate customer service is their number one priority. If that were true, it completely baffles me that you would not do the right thing and either refund me or offer to replace the screen at no charge. Please save your money and go to a store that will stand behind their work and their word.

I came here to get two lines of service from metroPCS. The guy working here said he didnt know how to do this and suggested I drive to their other store where his boss was working. What? Lost a customer that quick. Train your people.
