My only complaint is I can never avoid the long lines here! But alas, it is a much better location than the Vons on Gaffey St. We strictly shop here for their line of Refreshe Seltzer Water and gallons of Crystal Geiser at 89c. (Food here is not budget friendly) We noticed as of late, they are barely keeping Refreshe seltzer in stock. It is frustrating to come here just for our fix and have all the refreshe seltzer out of stock albeit 1 flavor. Or there are straggler packs, but not enough to meet the 3 for 1.99 sale. PLEASE STOCK MORE REFRESHE SELTZER!! There is obviously a demand if youre always out. The same goes for the Crystal Geiser gallons of water....frequently sold out. I have to say I am thankful they are always accommodating when you ask for a pack of quarters at the service desk. This definitely helps for laundry days.

My last two visits to this Vons have been complete fails. During much of the day, the parking is close to impossible and the lines are too long with too few checkstands open. Yesterday, I had 5 items and had to just set them down and walk out. There were only two checkstands open and about ten people in each line curving down the aisles. My other complaint is that they often run out of popular items, such as Peets French Roast coffee. Otherwise, its a nice store, usually well-stocked, and the staff is mostly friendly, helpful, and efficient. But none of that matters when the parking and waits are intolerable. I used to love this store, but after the nearby Albertsons closed, Vons did NOTHING to help absorb the increased traffic.

This is the good Von in SP No tweekers Parking is small This Vons is smaller and makes it nicer Stores need to be this size Vons needs to down size on the number of items it carries. I do not need five different brands of green or peppermint tea. I would rather have five different priorities of tea green, black, white, ceylon, and etc.... This is the same with all of the items carried: fruit juice, bbq sauce , ketchup, and a lot of other items carried buy big box stores.

Why does the egg salad in the deli case always smell like its our but tastes okay??? FYI Im not going to eat something I cant get past the smell and before, Ive had to return a large one because it finally tasted sour like it smelled when I first bought it. Thats three times in a row that Ive tried to buy it this month but had to turn it down after I smelled it. Mr. Watts Of San Pedro.

I historically shop at Vons for groceries. They have what I need with a nice balance of affordability and choice. Since they were bought by that major corporation its not as good and I hear they treat their employees worse too. The one in 25 is better, this one attracts a lower class crowd since its in lower San Pedro.

Was a big fan of this place, shopped at Safeway in Norcal all the time. Just this last visit I saw a worker pull out a normal grocery cart and go around the front of the store collecting trash bags in it. Not so impressed now. Wouldve taken a picture to post but just didnt think about it at the time.

I love this Vons om 25th. Just recently moved here from central california and i missed all the wines over there.. but this vons pretty much have all the wines i drink from santa barbara county to san luis obispo county. They have a good selection of pinot noir that made me feel at home.

My friends husband was tackled by undercover loss prevention, who then used a choke hold on him. His only crime, it turns out, was being black in their store. They threw away his receipt after the assault to cover up their incompetence. Avoid this store like the plague.

Very clean, organized, nice looking store. We stopped in to grab some water, snacks and eating utensils. Price was fair and the workers were friendly. Id come back here. Heck after visiting here on our vaca, Id say this is a pretty nice area to live I bet.

Management has drastically reduced the number of check-out lanes open, resulting in long lines. They used to open more lanes if a line passed 3 people. Apparently no more. Generally crummy experience in the store lately. Time to shop elsewhere.
