Severely disappointed that I show up at 7:30 last Sunday night, unaware of the fact that on Sunday nights this location closes at 7 - which is my own fault - however I had the dismay of witnessing an employee unlocking the doors and allowing a family (presumingly their mom and her several children) into the store. Upon discovering me attempt to approach the doors she looks at me and says "CLOSED!" "WERE CLOSED." The only reason I come to this store is because they are the only ones who carry the food that the shelter I rescued my cats from suggested. After that horrid experience Im considering just switching to a new brand altogether to avoid this place. Always something going on in here!! People complain about this location and for a good reason. Customer service is for the most part foul.

These jerks sold me a used clipper (packaged as new) for $30, then acted like they were doing me a favor to replace the thing. The manager acted like I was out of line for complaining about driving 16 miles round trip and spending 45 minutes to fix their sloppy mistake. The guy finally agreed to give me a $5 discount, then told the register clerk to only give me $3. Pathetic~ By the way, the veterinary services at these places is way more expensive than equivalent or better services available at sole proprietor veterinarians. Dont get ripped off!

This place is horriable I walked in and there was dog hair all over the damn place!!! it smell like dirty and germy Just filthy my dog was perfectly fine with all his shots up todate... 3 days later after leaving this place my dog got Kennel cough from this faclitly.. I would never ever bring my dog here again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! watch out!!!

Made an app for my two month old german shepherd for a bath. The price is 10.95!! I was pleasantly surprised all I have to take is proof she is up to date with her shots. :) They filled me in on training classes which is 109 for 6 weeks and the store was very clean and organized. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Will be coming back for more.

This place is full of useful and fun things for your pet. The customer service here is pretty good and the store is clean. Employees will ask if I need any help finding anything and they seem to be happy. For me, they have a great selection of cat food and other various items for my cat. But they have lots of items for lots of different pets.

I went here for my 9 month old Labs bath and nail cutting. They took 4 hours for such a small thing and plus after coming back home we found a bruise on my dog. We usually go to Fremont location and it has never taken more than 2-3 hours so I am pretty sure San Leandro took 4 hours because they wanted to cover up the bruise.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Always kind to my dog when she comes for grooming. Our dog is always happy to go back. Thats a good sign. Plus, the store is well stocked. I only wish they had a PetsHotel there. The only 2 in the Bay area are in Daly City and Dublin, which are quite a drive from Emeryville.

Took my dog in today for nail trim. First time Ive had his nails trimmed as daily walks keep them short but he had 1 long one that was bent. The ladies in Grooming were all SO nice & accommodating! We were in & out very fast. The cashier was very pleasant too. I recommend the Bayfair Petsmart!

Friendly staff but the person I asked for Id they sold fresh pet told me they didnt.. I walked around to double check and they do sell that refrigerated dog food my dog loves. Their grooming services are also great deal and my dog loves his baths

Definitely your typical big box pet supply store. These guys have a great selection of dog food and offer a buy 3 get one free discount. The staff is always super friendly and they have great hours. I love this place!

My go to place for cat food and litter. They offer training for dogs and have a grooming salon. Pet adoptions happen regularly and they provide the space to house adult cats for a local rescue until their adoption.

Staff smiles a lot, which as silly as some may think makes me happier about shopping here. They have pet grooming and a vet inside the store, I dont think either are directly products of PetSmart though.
