Shopping here has been an interesting experience. (Warning: long read, skip to the end for a TL;DR) Rating: 3.75/5 My now fiancée did her research and had found the perfect ring. She wanted the Hazeline Sheffield No 10 by Anna Sheffield. The salesperson who she worked with, Juliette, told her that the best place to source a diamond would be from Blue Nile. Armed with this information, when I was ready to begin the process, I started with purchasing the diamond from Blue Nile. I thought that it would be a smooth process - it was not. I walked into Manika with my diamond hoping to get it set in the Hazeline only to find out from Delphine that Anna Sheffield actually doesnt work with newly bought diamonds. I would have to return the diamond that I got and work either through Manika to source a stone or go directly to Anna or go to another stone dealer. This began the process of returning the diamond and waiting for my credit to be returned to me before I could even proceed with ordering the ring. With having to process the return and wait for my credit, I had to delay my proposal plans. From here on out, I worked with Delphine. Due to the misinformation provided to me, Delphine offered a slight discount as compensation for my troubles; this was very kind and generous of her. We had many emails back and forth to discuss the process of shopping for the ring. My initial decision was to source the center diamond myself from another stone dealer so that I would be able to choose the diamond specifications that I wanted, ensuring the quality. I spoke directly with Anna Sheffield about the reason why they dont use newly bought diamonds, which their response was "we do not typically work with any newly purchased diamonds because it takes away from our own ability to source and provide a finished product". With that response, I wanted clarification so I asked what kind of guarantee/return policy Manika had in case Anna refuses to use the diamond. I was worried about the possibility of wasting my time again, either if I choose to source my own diamond from a local dealer/jeweler or from Manika. I was also concerned when I was offered for sales tax to be redeemed, causing me to doubt the ring buying process with Manika. However, Manika was able to reassure me that Anna would use the diamond if I worked through them and that the quality would be guaranteed. After much thought and back and forth emailing, I eventually settled on having Anna choose the stone for me since she would ensure that the ring would be perfect! With this choice, I wanted to make sure that the diamond would be GIA certified, however, for some reason it was very hard for Manika to ensure that the ring I ordered would be GIA certified. In the end, I placed the order with Manika, received the ring (it came in a hideous purple and white cardboard ring box), and my fiancée and I are both very happy with it. All in all, the process from start to finish for this was from 6/24/16 - 7/16/16. I received the ring 7 weeks after I ordered. TL:DR (Rating: 3.75/5) The experience was positive despite having to spend extra time dealing with returns and guarantees. Delphine (store owner) was very helpful, had timely responses, and was very professional. If I had to go through this again, I would come again, but make sure that I spoke with Delphine and not one of the reps.

After some research online, my then girlfriend and I really liked Anna Sheffields work. We found out quickly that Manika Jewelry was the only store in SF that stocked her collections. We dropped into the store one evening (without an appointment!) and were greeted by Delphine. First off the store is inviting and a welcome change from stuffy jewelry stores. There is a comfy couch to sit on as you try on options. Delphine was really knowledgeable about the Anna Sheffield pieces and all the other designers in the store. She encouraged my fiancé to try a bunch of different styles (stone sizes, metals, etc) and designers and ensured that we were happy with the Anna Sheffield style we were leaning towards. To keep a tiny element of surprise, I decided to make the final order over email rather than in store. We did however end up walking out of there that day with a pair of earrings (from a different designer). Delphine was really timely with her responses and had the ring ready earlier than first promised! Overall, a really great little store and make sure to talk to Delphine if you can!

Im in love!!!! This is such a cool company. Bangles (my fav thing) made by hand from recycled materials. Each one has a unique and inspiring meaning. The staff went above and beyond and spent a ton of time making sure I found just the right gifts ... Kara even remembered who and what each bracelet was for! Also love the charitable giving that seemed authentically at the core of business instead of as an after thought. I will be back, Im hooked!

Carefully curated collection of so many lovely pieces of jewelry! Lots of local designers are represented here, but several international jewelry artists are also represented. I didnt look too carefully at prices, but the few items I looked at seemed "special occasion affordable". I especially love the very feminine delicate pieces with mix of precious and not so precious metals and gems. For the very modern stylish girl!!

Peafi is the MAN not only did he help me with a purchase i made at another place in CA he went above and beyond, explaining every detail of what was going to happen, how it would go down and even let me sit in the back with him while he set the stone. The man is SUPER honest, very friendly and just an all around Gentleman. I will never go to anyone else ever to get my jewelry from now on.

Truly great experience! Went in with a general idea and came out with the perfect engagement ring. If you are truly looking for a one of a kind ring, head on over to Suetake Bros and they will take care of you!
