Karen and Ed are the best! They are now our go-to jewelers! They spent over 10 hours in a week span (and usually after hours) educating my fiancé on diamonds and boy I am happy they did! In stereotypical fashion, my fiancé waited until the last possible second to have the ring made and they over delivered. I am in love with my ring! Their attention to detail is amazing! My fiancé and I live in the city and are so happy we found Galati Jewelers in San Mateo. Sometimes you can get lost in the over commercialized Jewelry market, which is why we like to use small local businesses that you can build a long relationship with. I had a bit of an accident after a long work trip at the airport and jammed my hand and therefore my ring, they took care of me, especially on such a short timeline before I went to try on wedding dress back home in Texas. I have also had them restring my pearl necklace given to me from my deceased grandmother! I wouldnt trust anyone else! We are also talking about creating something for all my bachelorettes as a gift. Karen has given me so many ideas to think about and always conscious of my price range. No project is too big or small for Karen and Ed! Please visit them!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Edward for my engagement ring appraisal. He was very pleasant, took the time to educate me on my ring. Showing me the GIA laser inscription with the 10x loop, small inclusion, etc. My fiance purchased my ring at a very reputable jeweler. When I went to get my ring re sized the the the sales women said that their diamonds are not laser inscribed which obviously wasnt true. So Edwards patients in showing and educating me on my ring, gave me peace of mind. Edward also stated that he went to GIA school. I did state that I had the GIA report but he did not want to see it until he did his own evaluation. Edwards evaluation of my diamond was right on the money, almost exactly what the report stated. I would defiantly come here again.

Edward is a very nice guy. Cute little shop, not big but perfect for what he needs to do. Im new to the area and needed some watch repair and found them on google. There prices where right and done while I waited. I highly recommend this shop.

Great local business run by a very friendly and service-oriented couple. Ed takes pride in his work and makes sure you are very happy with the results. I had a custom ring resized there and it looks better than new, and fits perfectly.

The woman who runs/owns the store was awesome! She waited for my 4 year old to regain composure after the first ear was pieced for 1hr (we had sushi a few doors down). When we returned, she was still patient and caring!
