This is a tiny little health food store situated right in between Cost Plus World Market on the left and a small dance studio on the right. They carry a lot of interesting and hard-to-find items I had never even heard of before until I came here. I mainly come for the healthy snacks and drinks, of which they have a lot. If youre a bit of a health freak, be prepared to be stuck here for a while reading through the labels of all the delicious sounding products, to ensure theyre as healthy as they claim. Take it from me, most of them are. I recently came across some amazing peanut butter gluten-free cookies which are moist and succulent from a brand called Pamelas Products. They also carry an interesting brand of Sprouted Chips from a brand called Way Better that pretty much taste like tortilla chips, but with more unique flavors, such as Pumpkin-Cranberry, (which is absolutely amazing). I could go on about all the different snack foods and other products they carry here, but its best if you discover that for yourself, as there are so many to choose from. Even the cereals are healthier than most other brands. Word of caution: Nothing here comes cheap, not even the snacks, so come prepared to spend some dough. A single meal/snack bar can set you back $2, not including tax. Not all of the people who work here are the smiliest of sorts, but on the whole, they are pretty cool once you get to know them. And if you have a question, they tend to be quite attentive to your needs. Heres to your health, and happy shopping to you!

I truly do NOT like to post negative reviews but: Its the only way some store owners will take feedback seriously. IN this case: They dont honor their own ads. If they offer a "buy one , get one free", and when going to purchase the items, they say, "its not for that one", when there is NO disclaimer, its ANNOYING, and Bad Business. Yes, ...Its BAD business, when a business makes a mistake and does NOT correct it in favor of the customer. A store should honor its mistake, and make the correction after Making-Good with the customer. Similar to mis-pricing an item, typically the customer is given the benefit of the mistake, and then corrections made later. There are other choices in Health Stores, and sadly, I will be stopping elsewhere for my health-related needs for now on. They are convenient location-wise, but in principle, I cant frequent a store that doesnt do right by the customer. Also, the staff willing (sort of) to help, but I have found their knowledge to be limited when asking questions, about natural health related issues.. There simply are better choices, and more knowledgeable store-keepers out there. And when you are asking questions about your health, etc., you WANT the right answers, or at least, competent answers. Not, "um, I think you need...".. .. Hopefully this, and other critical reviews will prompt the owners to be honorable, and also train their staff at least a little so that they can offer real help?

I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THAT BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR WHOLE MY LIFE.The employees there are not helpful. THEY DO NOT CARE AND REFUSE TO HELP YOU. At that store, you can not return your merchandise anytime you want. Instead, you have to depend on the managers schedule other wise you have to wait 30m or 1 hour when he come back from lunch time or have to be back. No mater how far you live from store or how inconvenient you are when you have to go back, you can not return your merchandise if their manager is not there because the manager does not trust his employees to do it (according to the employee). Even though you tried so hard to tell his employees to give him a call to explain your situation to see what he can do to help you and even you told the employee that "it doesnt hurt her if she give her manager a call" , what you got back was "I am sorry, I can not give him a call, you have to be back" (SPECIALLY YOU HAVE TO TRY TO MEET HIS SCHEDULE WHEN YOU COME BACK OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO GO HOME FOR NOTHING). When i told the employee that i would write very bad review about her store and tol all my friend and family that not come to her store, she reply me with very careless tone thatI JUST GO AHEAD AND DO IT IF I WANT. CANT YOU BELIEVE THAT????/? My recommendation is "NEVER AND NEVER GO TO THAT STORE AGAIN UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE THE FRUSTRATED EXPERIENCES LIKE I DID"

Not a vegan but I know a lot professionally about nutrition and health. The quality and range of foods is excellent. All types are represented -- fresh, frozen, preserved, local. Some items are one-of-a-kind or found in perhaps in three sites in all of southern California. People were very helpful. Clear intent on their part to provide nutritious and safe metabolic fuel. They go out of their way to help. The lower prices reflect their non-desire to advertise. They have an aversion to spacious high rents and foo-foo foods and supplements but yet still in a nice area of San Dimas. The store is within 70 yards of the 57 Fwy and Arrow Hwy interchange. Go later on a Saturday -- the mornings are packed.

This is the best place that Ive found to buy raw milk--even better than driving to Glendale to the Organic Pastures truck (which I used to do every two weeks)! Convenient location right off the 57 freeway at Arrow Highway. If you havent been there before, note that the sign above the store says "Health Food", not Vitamin City. This store is cramped full, but very worth it. Prices are low--1/2 gallon Organic Pastures whole milk is $6.99 compared to $8.99 at Sprouts! Only organic produce is sold here, no conventional, and prices are reasonable. Carry many products that I havent seen elsewhere, such as raw sauerkraut. Also, quite a few gluten-free items.

Im shocked at the previous reviews! I LOVE this store, and yes it is a bit small but their prices and selection cant be beat! Ive never had a problem with the staff. Their hours are a bummer, not opening until 10am, but like I said before, selection and prices are amazing so I dont mind. Most of the staff is very knowledgeable and if they dont know they ask someone else, the boss knows tons and is willing to help! So ignore these past posts, maybe they were in a bad mood when they went so the staff was never gong to impress. Enjoy!

I usually have trouble finding many of the supplements I use due to the fact I am reassigned every four months to a new location. This time I hit the jackpot with this one. They have excellent produce, amazing variety of supplements, and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and amazingly helpful. If youre looking for a one stop shop for all of your health concerns this would be one I would recommend.

For some reason all the people working here have a real dry demeanor. Not really friendly not really rude. Just dry, like they couldnt care either way. The only reason I continue to shop here is because their prices are good and its close to my house. The day I find a better place that greats me with an "honest" smile, I will STOP shopping here.
