Based on my experience with WF in Huntington Beach, I was looking forward to having a WF store in Brea. None of my 15-20 visits have contributed anything of positive value to change my disappointment Where do I start? : 1. They dont cook your fish or meat here. ( HB does) 2. Quality of produce is average at best. 3. Selection and quality of the food bar is mediocre. 4. Soup selection and quality is also mediocre. 5. Beer selection is lacking compared to HB. 6. Beer is expensive compare to HB. 7. Food ( e.g. burgers) are expensive compared to HB. 8. Lack of customer service.: a) Waited 20 minutes on the phone to talk to a manager. Finally gave up and drove to the store. B) floor person unable to answer my question and unable to get a manager when requested. 9. Long wait time at checkout- not enough cashiers. IMHO an overall bad management team whose primary goal is to maximize profit while watering down the WF name. I find Mothers in Brea, even at 1/5 the size of Breas WF, 10 times better overall .

One day, when I make it on to Top Chef, Ill run around the store and spend 2000 dollars to cook a dinner. The reason they only get 20 minutes in the store to buy their food on the show is not to build suspense, but because 2000 dollars can really only get you so far in Whole Foods. Until then, Ill be cool with walking through their store and see their awesome and eclectic mix of my produce, protein, and various packaged items. They have one of, if not the best, collection of beer from local breweries in the North OC. The Bruery, Bootleggers, bottle logic, Barley Forge, valiant, you name it they got it. A great place for lunch or to pick up some prepared foods as well. The quality here is good and the price reflects it. I love that they offer samples of their fruits in the produce section, one minor thing is that, from an aesthetics standpoint, their produce presentation is not as good as other Whole Foods in the area.

This is the first grocery store that one can really get excited about. First of all, the store is beautiful. Well laid out and nice, well lit, high ceilings. The staff so far have all been very nice and welcoming. The produce all looks as if it was handpicked for perfection. Unfortunately for me, the bananas were all already ripe so I did not purchase any. Sale prices make many of the items comparable in price to any other store. If you find the meats to be a bit on the high side one must remember that these goods are sourced from sustainable grass fed stock and are not your run of the mill animals. It’s what my wife refers to as “happy meat”. Personally I think it’s a good thing to buy and consume less meat anyway. So buy some but just don’t buy as much as you used to and treat yourself to much healthier food.

Finally a whole foods market around this neighborhood . Located in a new development in Brea with some great stores and food places to go to as well. As for whole foods they have plenty of items to choose from, fresh meats and produce to already cooked ready to eat food . Great place to even hang out , they have plenty of seating inside and out . They also have like a bar in the grocery store which you can get drinks and some appetizers . The only thing I hope they can work on ,is the number of cashiers they have in the evening on a Friday night . They had only 3 cashiers and a bunch of people in line . I only had 2 items to purchase and wish they had a self check out line that was available . Other than that its a great looking place to come back to .

This Whole Foods gets 5 stars for presentation. It is aesthetically stellar, beyond any of the whole foods Ive been in Southern California. The stations arent really anything out of the ordinary but the visual presentation is a quality experience. Its a big store with several areas for eating, socializing, meeting, which I love! Each area has a unique design style from woodwork, to red leather modern chairs, to edgy geometric gas fire pits outside. Theres a bar with a daily happy hour (discount on beer and wine and $5 bar food). There arent any restaurant stations like some of the other whole foods but theres the general prepared food sections, pizza, sandwiches, and smoked meats. Overall, a really great shopping and eating experience.

This store is great. Fantastic meat counter with everything from brisket and short ribs, to rack of lamb and ox tail. Good selection of seafood as well, all the fish looked delicious, at least 5 different types of clams and muscles, they also have a fresh poke bowl section as well, if youre looking for a quick bite to eat. Bought quite a bit of food from this counter. I was disappointed with the maple blueberry chicken sausage though... Cooked it this morning and it didnt taste like anything :/ thats probably the only downfall to this store... Maple blueberry sausage. Their cheese counter was good too. Katherine let us try a few, and she was happy to help us. Overall its a really nice store. Well be back.

I love Whole Foods. However, the 3 stars is for the cashier, with long blonde hair. Shes not very customer service oriented (unfortunately, she was the only register open). Actually, she is, just selective. She offered the guy in front of me a "paid" sticker and was all friendly. Then when she rang up my item, she was not paying attention and was about to send me on my way WITHOUT my cash back. This airhead didnt even ask if I wanted a bag. The managers should train this particular person better. I have never had an issue with any of the other cashiers. Theyre always nice and treat all of their customers the same.

My mom n I went there for the first time. We was treated so good by the employees. The guy there helped us find everything we needed, he also has a great sense of humor then we went too the meat department, we stocked up on meats, the guys knew about there meats and they helped us til we was done. We went too check out and the ladies was nice and helpful. The other lady name Leslie she was nice and help my mom and I out. We like whole foods due too everything is fresh and good even when we stopped by the veggie department everything was fresh even the oranges was fresh.

This location is one of the cleanest, biggest, and most impressive Whole Foods Markets that I have ever been to. I have bought both food and goods here, and I always come away impressed. This location also appears to have a second floor, but I have never ventured up there. Parking is usually not a problem, though the plaza can get somewhat busy during the weekday evenings and weekends. Other Whole Foods locations should meet your needs, but this location is very robust and worth checking out if you are in the area.

Such and EXCELLENT store. The prices may be a little high but it is totally worth it. The employees are willing to help/serve you with what ever you need help with. Plus this store has a second level where you can sit down and eat lunch or do some work on your computer. Everything here is NATURAL and ORGANIC! I am very happy that there is a whole foods close to me. If you are thinking of coming here just to see what its like or to buy something I HIGHLY recommend it!
