4 Hour Oil Change! I made an appointment for 11am. I showed up at 10:45am to turn in my keys and wander around the mall I have never been to. I expected maybe a 30 minute oil change. Oh...no.no.no... I was advised that it would probably take an hour and a half. That was obviously ridiculous, but I didnt have any obligations this afternoon, so I said okay and wandered over to the mall. Apparently, making an appointment doesnt matter. I have normally changed the oil in my car, but moving to San Diego cost me a garage. Who the hell takes more than 30 minutes to change their oil? Just to note, this a 6.9 quart oil change. Cut to 2 hours later. I still havent heard from Sears. They told me they would send a text to my phone when my car was ready to go. I walk over to the shop. ...my car is still sitting, hood open.. I go to sit in the waiting room. Unfortunately, Americas Funniest Home Videos is having a marathon on the TV. Not so funny a few hours in. Cut to 3 hours later... Car still sitting, hood open in the shop. 4 hours later, the salesperson up front informs me my car is finished (without the text notification they told me to expect). Thanks for the 4 hour oil change. I would have missed a riveting episode of the water cooler dripping in the waiting room if I hadnt booked an appointment.

Ordered a large item on the sears website for store pickup at UTC Sears. Website said it was in stock at UTC and also got a confirmation by UTC that the item was ready to be picked up. First, pickup instructions on the confirmation email were wrong and told me to go to the wrong place. Second, they did not have the item in stock! Third, they said I could take the floor model and it had all the parts. When I inventories the parts there were several pieces missing. Fourth, I asked to have the store manager, Christine, call me and have not heard anything yet. Fifth the guy who helped me said I could reorder the item on the web site and have it sent to a closer sears or kmart - wrong! I wasted a good 2 to 3 hours between the store and the website, took time off from work and ended up with nothing but a bad sears experience!

Ive been a regular customer of Sears for many years and their service was not too bad as it has become recently. A few months ago, I ordered shoes online with specific size and brand. However, when I received the order, I was surprised to find that the shoes was of a different size. Then I ordered a suitcase and this time I got different brand and different color as well. And just recently I ordered eight items online, but when I opened the package I only found six items - two items were missing. I guess it is my fault, I should learn a lesson and never shop at Sears both in store and online. What kind of service is this? I would give their customer service a minus -1. They must close all their stores!

i dunno if it goes for the rest of utc, but dont return the item that you bought with a gift card. i did and they wouldnt give my money back as store credit or on a gift card. they had no idea where the money got transfered to. they didnt care and were like "too bad." so i returned an item to them and they lost my money and wouldnt give me any compensation for their mistake. i didnt have time to fight with them and talk to the manager and it wasnt a large enough amount of money, but that was just dumb. the guy who seemed new who made the mistake apologized but what good does that do me? it was that girls fault too, the one who helped him do that mistake.

BAAAAD customer service!!!! Was next in line for a oil change and waited 40 minutes while she helped random customer not even in the line. Then said she would help all of the people that need to pay while i was already next in line for 40 minutes. I then complained and cashier said to get my car information and she would help after she finishes the customers that need to pay. I was furious and complained to the manager. The manager did not do anything, he just stood there. I stood in line for a total of 90 minutes and was LATE FOR WORK!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!

I realize youre going out of business but never once have I been in the store and theyre B air conditioning it makes it very hard to shop we love to shop at Sears with us one of the main reasons that we dont and as youre going out of business you have a lot of Clerks on the floor but really youre only going to have one register open for the entire floor so when we were upstairs shopping in kids clothes we had to come all the way back downstairs to the men Department to pay for it wont be going back

I purchased a gazebo (for approx $1000) with the delivery and installation and sales person promised free installation which is clearly stated in my receipt, but on the delivery date I got a call from the delivery company, they refused to install gazebo and I contacted Sears manager after what I got a call from another person who tried to upsell me installation service for the $800!!! The installation service what I ordered in the beginning and what promised me FOR FREE!!!

WARNING. HIGH ALERT! I was checking out the mattresses on display and decided to purchase one that was really soft memory foam. Paid $2000 for it and when I got it delivered I got a different one that was not even worth $500. I called customer service and they said 25% restocking fee to return it, even though I did not use it. I have back I pain every time I sleep. How are they still in business? This is fraud. Its illegal.

AVOID this Sears Auto. I have never had worse service on a car. I had my tires replaced. After the service, the tire sensors didnt work correctly. The manager was totally unresponsive, did not return calls, never took responsibility for the damage, and was completely unprofessional. If you do not want to go back several times, or are interested in having a job done right, go someplace else - you will thank me.

Horrible customer service very unprofessional in the tool department do not know what theyre talking about did not know about any of the promotions that the schools are doing the manager didnt even know and Im Union in a union program that is in their database thats how uninformed and unaware of their job they are just people sitting and getting a paycheck at this location Worst Years ever

I went in to get a watch battery replaced and to get some links replaced, and I have never been treated so horribly as I was by the watch repair associate named Ginger. She was rude, condescending, discourteous and angry for some reason. I will definitely be filing a corporate complaint and contacting the Better Business Bureua.

Pros:. Craftsman tools, work boots, and Carhart work clothes. Outdoor Life mens apparel. Cons: Auto center and everything else. Customer service is the worst in the industry by far. Unhappy disagreeable and unhelpful staff. Need to take your core brands and making smaller stores and get real people in to help.
