We visited on a Saturday AM and a Sunday AM. The Saturday experience was great! Cute and quaint spot that is perfectly located. Quick service and a great interaction. Loved It! Sunday we ran up from South Mission, foregoing local favs to go back to the friendly Pacific Bean. After waiting in line for 10 minutes, watching coffee and Acai Bowls be prepared and distributed to those in line, before us, we were asked if we could wait for our bowl (she did give us our coffee) until she "worked through" the line that was behind us. Ive never been asked to wait for others, further back in line, to be served before my order was completed. Disappointed, we opted to forego the bowl and just pay for the coffee.

there was no one at the counter when i got there. Turns out the barista had to move his car. When he got there he asked me what i wanted to order. It was hot so all i really wanted was an iced black coffee. He was more than happy to make me one and even suggested to add a shot of espresso if i wanted it stronger. I just added sugarfree hazelnut syrup instead. Coffee tasted smooth and refreshing. Just what i wanted. He even gave it to me on the house for waiting patiently. I still would have paid and sId the same thing regardless. This is not a biased opinion. Great coffee in PB.

One of the best coffee shops I have ever seen. Staff is incredibly friendly and compassionate. Everytime I am in PB, I swing in for a quick coffee and end up staying for an hour. I managed a restaurant for 6 years and a coffee shop for two and this place rocks!! Friendly suggestion to the previous reviewers, this is not Starbucks so dont complain when you dont get the drive-thru coffee experience.

I am a big Mocha fan and they have a large selection of unique combinations. My raspberry Mocha was excellent. I wanted it hotter and the Barista Tyler steamed it for me immediately. The only drawback here is the small seating area with no toilet that could use new furniture and sprucing up. However, the beach is steps away so not a major deal. The atmosphere is very friendly and chilled out.

5 big stars for this cozy, super laid back coffee spot with friendly service, an awesome mocha menu and excellent coffee. They claim to make the best mochas in the world. I cant confirm or deny that wild claim but they are very good. The basic iced and Vietnamese coffees are also very well made. These guys know what theyre doing. Good stuff here.

I loved this place!!! The staff is very friendly and, speaking as an Italian . . . questo e lunico posto in PB dove si puo gustare un eccellente macchiato, fatto a modo. That is to say, this is the only place in PB where one can have an excellent espresso macchiato, done properly. I highly recommend the Pacific Bean!

Awful Place! From San Diego born and raised so I know my way around the better spots. This is not one of them. The tall shaggy head dude who works there is always STONED and makes crappy attempts at making an espresso drink the way it should be. *Poor Service *Poor Drink Quality *Quaint Atmosphere

Best Mocha Ever! They have so many different mixtures to choose from, but I looove the Blondie! The whipped cream is so amazing! Its all homemade and it taste so good! This will always be my favorite coffee shop!

Love the Green Tea Latte with Almond Milk, I would add a little bit of honey, you have to ask for this, its not on menu but the girls that made it each morning for me, made it with a smile! Great people!

I dont even drink coffee and I love this place! Their acai bowls are amazing, I stop for one every time Im in town. The owner and staff are all really friendly. GF loves their Mexican Moca Coffee too.

Great Mocha!! Excellent service too. Stayed in San Diego for 6 days and tried a few coffee shops. Once we found this place we had it every morning until we left. Highly recommended!
