Ive got a 2003 sv650 with about 100k miles on it. I came in here because it was a close shop to where I moved to, the reviews were promising, and I was in need of chain and sprockets installed. The installation of the chain and sprockets was quick enough. Unfortunately just yesterday, while riding, the front sprocket came off the drive shaft (imagine my surprise). When I looked around to figure out what was going on, I noticed the mechanic failed to adjust the lock washer at all and the nut subsequently spun itself loose. The only reason the nut and sprocket didnt go flying off at speed (thankfully) was because the sprocket nut was rubbing against the clutch cable assembly which has now been worn down and also needs to be replaced. I would not recommend this shop, as this is a pretty serious error to make and could have cost me my life had there been an incident on the freeway. Ill definitely take the time to drive up to Oceanside Cycle Supply for all my maintenance needs in the future.

So far, so good! Friendly, helpful, not too expensive, although I did decide that labor on one operation would be more worthwhile to do myself... but thats why I like biking. Didnt ask if they could do the hard work if I did the dis-assembly/re-assembly, but I would guess so. Mostly just nice guys, a busy enough service-bay. (If you ever go into an established motorbike shop, at least in SCal, and they are not busy, beware!) When I ordered my part, they helped me prep it in their shop (not big job, just grease) which was quite nice. In talking with one of the mechanics, I can tell he is very well-trained etc. Several times they offered some pretty good advice, etc. and ordered a few odd parts etc. Will certainly go back. Also they have a few used bikes on sale, including a few all-electric bikes, pretty neat.

The worst shop in san diego, i talked to a guy who barely spoke english, and asked him about the bikes he had for sale. he went on telling me that they were all in great shape and never been layed down, any one who has been riding for more that a week knows what a bike that has a hong kong red bull body has beed layed down! come on guys most of thoes bike have body work or repainted, that shop is a joke. oh and he will give millitary 500 off any bike because he knows he riping them off to start! DONT BUY A BIKE FROM MOTOZONE!

I bought a kawasaki ninja250 over there. The price was pretty good and simillar to what you could find on craigslist. The service is great and fast. Few time after i bought the bike, i had a problem with my carburator. I brought them the bike in the morning and it was fixed the afternoon. The staff is great and always take the time to talk to you if you have any question. If you are looking for a bike you definitely should consider to go to this place.

Tried to find a company to work on my Chinese scooter and had no luck until I was referred to Motozone. They picked up my scooter and fixed all my major issues and even went out of their way to do the minor ones for free. They did all my repairs for rate that was very reasonable and since I was on a strict timeline I was able to pick it up in 3 days. I would definitely recommend them and go to them with any of my scooter repairs in the future. :)

Ive taken my Harley Davidson to a lot of places since purchasing it in 2007. In San Diego Ive taken it to HD of SD (which was a major mistake) and MOTOZONE. Originally I was referred to them by a friend but now i will take my bike there to get all its work done, albeit, it wont come back to you sparkling like you may have taken it there. Their clean-up jobs arent superb but the work is good.

From Vancouver, needed a front tire was referred to House of Motorcycle, $170 dollars later I had a tire that didnt fit. House of Crap wouldnt install the tire either because my bike was too old but luckily I stumbled upon Motozone and they found me a tire from somewhere else for 66 dollars. They gave me some good advice and were honest. I would go back if I lived in Cali!

MOTOZONE fixed my bike. Helpful and good prices. They have accessories like helmets, gloves, tires and more always in stock. If they dont have something youre looking for, they will order it for you most of the time with next day delivery. I recommend checking this shop (Motozone) first for deals, and work on all bikes.

This place was great. I dropped off a front and rear wheel for a tire swap. I waited about a half hour, as opposed to a full day at most other shops in San Diego. The price was resonable and the guys in the shop were really friendly. Ill be using them in the future for sure.
