Do not do business with this car lot. Not even a month after I got a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu from them it started breaking down. They promised to fix it and any other damage to bring it in and it will be fixed. They "fixed" the problem and the next day it occurred again. I took it back and it was again "fixed." Now 6months after I am already looking to replace this car. I am paying off the grand total of 10000 they wanted for it and I went to another lot and was told my car wasnt even worth 5000 due to the condition and damage. Come to find out I have several holes in my engine that were patched up by an enormous amount of electrical tape and told the car was in superb condition only needing new brakes. My car needs a new transmission transmission pan a new hose new spark plugs and loads more. This car lot is extremely overpriced and full of run down cars. I will never recommend them to anyone. Not to mention they said my damages are now on me but at first they would fix anything anytime bring it in. If you are looking for a used car you would probably have better luck looking on the side of the street at abandoned for sale cars or on Craigslist. Thrifty is the worst lot Ive ever been to. My 2000 Lexus I got on Craigslist had less miles and lasted me 3 years until I got into an accident. So sorry I did business with them.

Buyer Beware! Worked with this location for 2 months before purchasing a convertible top vehicle. The day of signing paperwork the price jumped $2k due to internet prices listed being cash prices, needless to say befor oeaving the lot the top didnt drop in which I was promised a maintenance appointment. On the date of the appointment nobody arrived and now that I have a different schedule and know the problem is NOT A FUZE but the top mechanism they will no longer assist me. I hope that commission does wonders for the representative JOSE since now Ive incurred out of pocket expenses youve promised to assist with. My advice to future shoppers is to check out paul blanco, better cars better prices and better service, you can only imagine where Im taking this car for a trade in. VERY DISAPPOINTED Update!! Found they in house financed me and delivered the car back to the lot, necer helped nor ran my credit and they are the finance company. Dont deal with them there many TRUE car lots that will accept your business.

We bought an suv about 2 months ago. The first 2 weeks we jag problems we took it in and they so fixed it... 2 weeks later it completely shut down and now it wont even start. We spoked to the dealership and told them what the problem was and there responds was "you bought a used vehicle thats your problem." So if youre looking for a vehicle seriously go somewhere else. Take your money where theyre not going to cheat you, specially of youre Latino. Theyre just in the business to steal your money and sale you faulty vehicles. Please dont let it happen to you. Take our experience as a lesson. TAKE YOURE MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. NOW WE HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET TO GET IT FIX AND EVEN IF IT IS A USED VEHICLE ITS COMING FROM A DEALERSHIP WE OR NO ONE ELSE SHOULD BE GOING THROUGH THIS... IM NOT BEING A HATER, UNHAPPY YES BUT SERIOUSLY GUYS THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO INVEST YOUR MONEY. NOW WERE STUCK PAYING A 10,000 DEBT FOR A FAULTY VEHICLE.

I bought my car back in September 2015 and it is now March 2016 and the engine is shot it ran good first couple of weeks check engine light came on i took it too them they fixed the problem so i thought then comes December check engine light is back on and because i didnt have a warranty they told me it was nothing they can do about it... Now comes March and the car is completely done have to by a new engine and still pay my car note on a vehicle that is not driveable They sell lemons so make sure you get the EXTENDED warranty take my word for it EXTENDED EXTENDED EXTENDED WARRANTY THEY WILL GET OVER ON YOU MOST OF THESE REVIEWS ARE FAKE THERE A SCAM THEM AND WEST COAST AUTO FINANCE:The loan company they deal with its all in house to take your money

The transaction started off well or so I thought, I was lied to on several accounts, the car I bought wasnt ready to be sold, they said theyd fix things up it took 3 months just to get the ac/heat working I have taken the car in for work multiple times still have much need, which I am going to a professional with, now only to find out the price for the vehicle that was agreed upon had been written over with a new price that was not agreed on or spoken about and faxed over to a financial service, dont buy here, if you do read all your paperwork before you leave the door. Its not good enough to read it as youre filling the paperwork out, changes can be made while they claim to be copying and faxing....never again

If I could just not give it stars I would. They made the paperwork for my mother in law in order for her to get her car, but they recommended her to have a consigned in order for her to get a car, now it comes up that she wasnt even in the loan!!! And the "consigner" is the legal owner of the car, so he basically took it from her without notice with all the law backing him up bc these people didnt fill up the paper work as they said they would. Now she doesnt have a car and all the money she paid for the car all this time is basically lost. Will NEVER do business with them and strongly recommend people to not come here either!

Do not go here even if u are extremly desperate for a car. U are better off buying a project car from craigslist. Got a car there they wrote in their own contract that they would fix something if anything was wrong but they broke that. Then when we jept tryin to get the car fixed they kept pushing it off and tried to trade us for another car. The car they wanted to give us was priced at over $9000 and with all the problems that the car had it isnt even worth 1500. Horrible service horrible and over priced cars. Avoid this place at all means.

My friend bought a car here she had the worst experience ever. They where deceptive they over charge her 603.00 to pay the backed up plates on her car, they said she had to pay a fee of 463.00 just in case she wanted to return the car in less than 3 days she had said no and still charge her for it. The sales staff at Thrifty Car Sales are only polite when you are there to buy the car after you start the process they are very demanding and disrespectful. On behalf of my friends i do not recommend this dealership.

Ive never dealt with such unprofessional people. The first day of getting a car the battery had died. I called and they said they would reimburse me, but all within the first week I found so many other wrong things, and kept having to waste time and gas to go back and see them. I went 3 times just got the same problem they said they would fix, and now since the first month of having the car has passed, they said its too late. The manager there is a complete bonehead and should be put out of business.
