In my opinion, they serve the best bowl of pho in the area. Its rich in flavor, so no need to add rooster/hoisin sauce. They keep each table clean and stocked with whatever you may want to add though. I hate going to places and having to steal hot oil from another table. You know what I mean. Lao sausage is good also. Add some fried meatballs, dipping sauce, and some sticky rice, a beer or 2 (or some Thai tea), and mmmm mmmmmmm! They have a couple screens to catch whatever game is on, like Cavs v. Celtics round 1 game right now. Lastly, the bathroom is also kept stocked and clean.

I love the food at South Area Market. It used to be a local ethnic grocery store but the owners turned the back part of the store into a restaurant. The Laotian and Thai food is pretty good, we dine here at least twice a month. The larb is the best Ive had from any establishment and they also do party trays. The owners and their family are always nice and seem to know all their customers pretty well.

Divey- hole in the wall place. This places serves the closest to authentic Lao & Thai food. The guys who wait tables are upbeat and friendly. ...may be salty for some. My sister found the Kapone noodle salty. But I cant argue because the backdrop of southeast Asian dishes have fishsauce.

The portion is said to feed 2 or more but in reality it feed not even one person unless your appetite is a mere snack...I strongly suggest go somewhere else unless you want to pay a high price for a snack portion meal!!!!

The BEST Laotian food in Sacramento! Everything is made FRESH! The Papaya Salad is absolutely divine! The Laab is very authentic tasting! And they will accommodate your spice level or any other requests, with no problem!

Great Laotion food hidden inside a supermarket. Supermarket portion is very limited but it was intended for the food. Great tasting food but it is kind of expensive compare to other places. Prices use to be great.
