Response to the owners rebuttal comment: If the seamstress stated she had 30 years experience then she would had told us the patches could not be sewn on the vest. In previous occasions at Renegade, if patches could not be sewn on a vest due to the condition of the patches or possibly;y sewing the inner pockets we were told prior to the work being started and the decision would be for us to make. As stated in the previous comment we did not have any problems with the previous seamstress. The patches were measured by one of the store employees and the placement of the patches were taped to the vest. Many seamstress with that much experience would have used temporary glue to the back of the patches so the measurement placement would not be compromised and to avoid "bunching" of the patches. We also provided the measurements with a schematic prior to leaving the vest so to say the measurements were not correct would be an incorrect statement. The real concern I have is the owner did not address the vest. If you pride in good customer service then that was totally missed! We will pursue further action on this issue, at this point the money is not the concern, it is the owner not taking the responsibility of a damaged product by one of his employees and avoiding the issue when we were seeking some resolution. I have been a customer at Renegade Classics Outlet Store in Sacramento for approximately 13 years. The club I belong to has also has done business with them and the prior seamstress did all the sewing for our club patches. However the seamstress has since retired and a new seamstress is now there. A new Brother (Ed) and I took his patches to be sewn by the new seamstress at Renegade in Sacramento. She claimed she had 30 years experience and could sew on the patches in about a two hour time span., Ed and I left the vest (which he bought at Renegade for $225.00) and the patches to be sewn. About an hour and a half later, Ed received a text from the seamstress asking if he left the vest and measurements. He stated he did and sent the measurements via text to the seamstress. We arrived at Renegade before closing and told the vest was not ready and we would have to come back tomorrow. Ed was not happy (neither was I) as we were having a club function that evening. The following day Ed and his wife went to pick up the vest and were very dissatisfied. The vest was ruined as the seamstress had sewn on the patches, removed them and sewn them on again. The stitching marks were very visible on the sides of the middle and bottom rockers. Ed requested to speak to the store manager and he said he would seek resolution from the store owner. This process took about three to four days to get a response and finally the owner stated he would reimburse Ed $30.00!! Are you freakin" kidding me? The vest was $225.00, the sewing of the patches $60.00 and all he was willing to reimburse Ed was $30.00? We have been avid supporters for many events hosted by the Renegade stores in Sacramento and Modesto. We had also encouraged our Supporters and other clubs to participate for a good cause. However we will no longer be giving Renegade our business and no longer participating in their events. Why should a club support Troy D. Rowsey, owner when he disrespected one of our Brothers? I have read in the comments from other customers how great this place is, you may want to take another look. Adios Renegade...
