The place is tiny, and doesnt have much inventory at all, but they seem to be able to order almost anything for motorcycles (even helmets/jackets/etc), and they shave some money off the retail price. I love this place because they sell me stuff at good prices. I have only found stuff online with better prices, but after the shipping costs the online stuff ends up being more expensive. I go here to pick up mainly oil and filters for my 300 ninja. Motul 5100 oil and a k&n 303 filter, all together costs like $51 bucks. Comes out cheaper than other reputable places I have shopped at. I am pretty sure they cut the prices down a little at the register as well. Some in store sticker prices: - motul 5100 gallon 10w40 = $42.99 - motul chain lube (road) = $10.99 - motul chain lube (factory line) = $10.99 - motul chain clean = $10.99 Pros: - they cut the price a little at the register (Not sure if they do this with all items, or if amount of price cut is consistent). I think the price cut is at the cashiers discretion, and it is only a few dollars. - you save money shopping for new stuff at this place. - twice I have been told by people that work there that "if you find something you like at another place, for example "Cycle Gear", then write down the size, make, and model of the item, we (Xtreme Cycle) can order it and it will almost always be cheaper." - One time I forgot which oil filter I needed and the guys at the counter both started checking online for me. They figured it out in about a minute, and double checked. - I went to "Cycle Gear" for a bike cover and they had a waterproof bike cover on sale for sixty something dollars, but I decided to see if Xtreme Cycle could order one for cheaper. The guy at the counter ordered one (not same brand though) for $48.71 after tax, and it would be delivered to store next day (because I ordered before 2:00pm). A few hours later he called me up letting me know he had some covers in stock and that he was sorry for not noticing them when I was there. He gave me the new one with no hassle or crazy return nonsense, just handed me a new box, and apologized again. Oh and I forgot to mention that when I initially was trying to order out of the catalog, I saw that the retail price in the catalog was like $49.99 (before tax), but the guy quoted me $45.00 (before tax). Cons so far: - almost nothing in stock, but you could PROBABLY pay and order to the store over the phone. - dont carry washers needed for oil change. - purchased an oil filter once that must have been returned, box was opened and filter had a few drops of oil on it. Not a big deal for me, just wished I noticed in store, so they could cut me an even better deal on it.

Unfortunately I changed my mind on this place. I brought my Aprilia scooter last December for the tire change and the transmission belt replacement. Everyone was so nice and seemed very professional. Last week my scooter stopped working, and a weird noise came out the transmission block. I had to bring it to the closest motorcycle shop. After opening the clutch and the variator, we found that a washer was placed in the wrong spot and the end of the crankshaft splines are stripped causing the outer fixed pulley to float on the shaft. I called Aprilia in Elk Grove and asked for a quote to fix it.. 1,300 $!!!! I decided to go to XtremeCycle and try to figure out if we could find a solution. The owner was not present, and the person on the desk said that since a few months they do not treat scooters anymore (probably they figured out that they know nothing about them or another client had issues). I explained the situation, and I was told that the owner would have called me as soon as possible... After a few days no calls from the owner and probably no chance of helping with my issue. If they mess up they do not care of finding a solution with you.

I Have Always Trusted These Guys To Do High Quality Work, And At Some Of The Lowest Prices In Town, And So Far, They Have Yet To Disappoint Me. I Took My Bike In Today For A Quick Set Of Brake Pads On The Back, And Even Though I Had Not Made An Appointment, They Were Able To Get Me In Immediately, And Not Only Did They Quickly Finish Installing The Brake Pads, But They Had Also Done Some Diagnostic Work On Another Issue I Had Asked Them To Check For Me, And They Had Figured Out What It Was, And Had An Estimate On How Much It Would Cost To Have Them Fix It, All In Less Than An Hour! I Was Also Amused To See That There Was A Picture Of My Bike, (The Blue 1994 Vulcan 1500), On Their Web Page, Most Likely From One Of The Other Times That I Had Them Do Work On It. The Friendly, Knowledgeable Staff At Xtreme Have Always Gone Out Of Their Way To Make Sure I Was Satisfied With Their Work, And Like I Already Said Before,,, They Have Yet To Disappoint Me.

Shop appears good, but they dont complete things on time and they dont communicate. I dont mind holding my bike longer than expected, but at least let me know why and keep it honest to the customer. Response to owner. My brother sir James turned the bike in for me, you gave him a time when the bike would be finished and he gave me the info so I cam come back on military leave and take my bike back with me. It took you guys over a week and a half to to 2 hrs of work. Then he called you again on Saturday and someone told him he would get a call to pick it up that day and no one gave him the call. Now if another bike rook more time or my bike tool extra time let the customer know because I planed around what you guys said so I wasted a trip and now my brother has to take time out his work to help me. Thats why I gave one star and this is valid.

Small shop with huge capabilities. Race worth mechanics and professional customer support. Company that truly cares about the sport of riding. I also noticed someone elses comment about a guy named Eric... I know that guy and he isnt affiliated with xtreme cycle at all. Ben is the man in charge and a respectful guy. Thanks guys for a great experience and I will be back for future maintenance.
