I met with Dr. Nicole P. Ha at this eye center 2 weeks ago. She prescribed new lenses and the glasses shop ordered them. The prescription was not right so I go back to "check" them in a follow up session. So today I tried to explain why I think the prescription is not right and how is my vision different compared to my previous prescription. Unbelievably, she said that I am making her feel like I am the doctor and she is the patient, and instead of listening to me, she said that she will talk to glasses shop to refund my money (ME: what? I dont want a refund, what is happening right now?) and we make everything "washed out" so its like I was never there. I do not quiet still get what happened, she failed to give me the right prescription, and instead of taking responsibility and try to check my vision again, she basically erased my appointments and refunded me. WHAT?!!!

I have had Contracts removed on both of my eyes by Dr. Allavie and can only extend my gratitude and appreciation for not only his professionalism, consideration of his patients concerns , willingness to answer any and all questions but for his real interest in making sure that his patient is comfortable with the procedure. He also extended this same type of treatment when my mother, who had already lost the sight of one eye, was past ninety years of age, had to be prepared to be totally blind for 24 hours as she was concerned about loosing the sight of her only good eye. If I was asked to rate Dr. Allavie from one to ten being the very best, my husband and myself would rate him a 10+. Would highly recommend him and his very professional and caring staff. Went to Riverside Eye Specialists to see doctor Allavie; everyone from the ladies at the front desk; Dr Allavie; his assistant and the lady at the register were all very knowledgeable; corteous; friendly and professional. Had a great experience; I did not need glasses but they have a store in there ready to fill your prescription, I would recommend Riverside Eye Specialists to anyone in need of an eye exam or to fill a prescription .

Been going there for many years and then suddenly, they refused to treat the pain associated with my eye problem. I had to go to my regular doctor for pain meds. Claimed the eye pain should be treated with anti-inflammatory meds. Im too old to suffer pain needlessly. I wont return. Either treat all my symptoms or you dont get my business. My pain needed treatment, they refused.

I have had glaucoma for over 40 years. Dr. Allavie has given me excellent care in controlling my pressure and suggesting surgery when it was needed. I have great confidence in his office staff and his continuing care. My husbands cataract surgery was so successful that he has scheduled his 2nd next month. Great place! Very nice Doctors and Staff. Very professional. Had successful surgery for Pterygium last February. Would rate it 5 stars when the redness goes away. Dont like the obvious scar from the stitches which I was told would be there.
