1 star because their coffee and muffins are good. They need to work on their customer service. So I was totally disappointed with the service. First of all I love the coffee they serve & the service is honestly a hit and miss so far with my visits. I see a lot of clients and some are new to riverside they ask for recommendations and I always said Molinos coffee! It has a great view of the mission in, cozy during rainy days and the coffee is really good! I want to say that I went 2-3 times a week right after or before yoga, Ive met up with friends at Molinos and had them try the peanut coffee.. but this morning was just a crappy experience. I had gone to Starbucks that is literally 2 minutes away from my house, the internet was down. ( and yes I bought a drink from them) so I decided to go to Molinos.. (15 minute drive ) I brought my coffee in and sat in the corner using my computer I was there for a hour and a half when some lady who works there finally looked at me and asked if everything ok? Looking at her confused she said "your in my coffee shop, using my internet, in a good wifi spot and you have Starbucks drink." I TOTALLY understand how that looks.. I just think she couldve gone a different way about it. I think after I said " do you want me to buy something ? Because I can." She calmed down and was like " I hope you understand where Im coming from" Whatever you lost my business and from now on Im going to be a crybaby and complain to all my clients about what a crappy service I got. And FYI I did buy a banana muffin, I will def miss those. . But not your stank face. Maybe you should have a sign that says no outside drinks Or wifi for customers only. Didnt see that anywhere.

The coffee shop has a great location and a good vibe. However, the actual food is poor quality. Try a bite of brownie... and be prepared to spit it out. Im pretty sure its repacked from a cheap wholesale supplier or Stater Bros (one morning I saw the owner bringing in food supplies from Stater Bros). I usually stick to the organic acai bowl and Ive noticed the quality of them decreasing over the past year or so. When Molinos first opened, the acai bowls would be fresh and nicely made. The last time I was there, the strawberries looked old and mushy. I asked if they were fresh and was told that theyre cut fresh the night before and put into a container. The barista then offered to cut fresh strawberries... but she did not make the whole thing fresh, and there were still gross mushy OLD strawberries on the top and on the bottom. I also have questions as to whether everything in the bowl is organic or if its something they started and stopped, but they still call it organic. I wouldnt be surprised. However, the positive thing about this place is that its in a great location, so maybe just dont go when you actually want to eat anything :)

A nice little coffee joint in the heart of downtown. I stopped in for a cup with my mother in order to try something other than the chain stores. Location: Clean, cozy, reminded me of a non-rustic San Francisco "hipster" joint. Everything that the SF folks like, but the decor was a bit less used. ;) The Staff: The laides on who were working during my visit were operating soothly and getting things done as a team. They communicated to each other well and made it all happen. Customer service was top notch! The Coffe: Hot, fast, delicious. I had house coffee with soy. Nothing fancy, but thats how I like it. I visit the are regularly and have a new morning destination. Also - free WiFi :)

All of my friends and family love this place for their tasty snacks, coffee, and atmosphere! Try the Affogato (sp?) My dietary restrictions limit me to tea and water but it is still one of my favorite treat places. I have a service dog and they always treat us very well including bringing her water on hot days while still respecting her as a working dog. I cannot speak for wheelchair or bathroom access as I simply avoid all of this out of habit (too many bad experiences at other places) but I bet Molinos staff would find a way to make it amenable. I hope someone with disabilities can speak further to these issues. Love this place and highly recommend.

Hello I placed an order 1/4/2017 today is 1/20/2017 I still have not received my order! 1/10/2017 I called and spoke to a very nice woman who told me she will call me back and let me know what happened and when my order would ship. 1/17/2017 I called back after not getting any updates, I was told my order would ship that day and would ship overnight to make up for any inconvenience. Today I finally got an update and they shipped it ground will not arrive till 1/23/2017. I hate being lied to I paid $22 for shipping and handling I will send someone to publix and they can mail it to me for 6 buck next time.

This is a nifty spot to chill alone or with friends. The coffee is delicious and the ambiance is nothing short of cool. There is plenty of seating and electrical outlets! My one biggest gripe is the state of the bathroom (sketchy and in need of repairs!). Molinos shares a bathroom with their attached thrift shop neighbor, and the bathroom has seen waaaaaaaaaaaay better days. If youre ever in the heart of Downtown Riverside, give this place a visit. Order a coffee, sit down, relax, and enjoy the view of the Mission Inn.

Molinos is the quintessential neighborhood coffee shop. They proudly claim, "The Mission Inn is directly across from US." All jokes aside, they serve great lattes, espressos and tea. If youre a first timer, their affogato is EXCELLENT. The staff is very friendly and they offer wi-fi. Parking is free after 5pm and weekends and holidays, so be sure to come over if you want an alternative to the green mermaid. Note: It gets pretty packed so come early to snag a seat if you need to do work or study.

I stopped by here to meet a friend. The atmosphere is pretty calm and the place had a quiet noise of people typing on their laptops or chit-chatting with their friends. I had a cup of tea and sat on the patio. It was dusk but there werent that many people out there. The service wasnt that bad, but there was nothing that struck me as to why I should come back. Plus after dark the local homeless population comes out and while no one bothered me directly, I was definitely looking over my shoulder.

Where to begin: this place is SO much fun. We love the hours and we have yet to have a bad beverage. Weve had their cortadito, cafe coin leche, their pumpkin spice latte is AMAZING! The baristas are great people, share great conversations, and make the visit enjoyable. Its a great place to visit for conversations, to study, and everything in between! A definite place to visit when in downtown Riverside.

Looking for a place to study? Bring headphones it can get a little noisy in here but besides that the coffee is amazing and great vibe. Right in front of mission in which gives a nice view especially when its decorated. The quad cubano over ice is the way to go if you looking for a caffeine fix and planning on a mega study sesh, or just working the night shift and need some extra energy.
