Hey Lift Team, First of all, just want to say how much I enjoy your establishment. The quality drinks, the delicious pastries, the location, the pleasant atmosphere... all I could ask for in a great coffee shop. I have spread the word to most of, if not all, my friends about you guys. I even make sure to leave a tip every time I come in because your services have always been awesome...well, at least until today... I came in and ordered a single origin espresso with a cinnamon roll. I also asked for a cup of ice on the side. I normally add half a packet of sugar, pour over ice, and lots of creamer; this is something I saw a friend of mine do a while back and Ive copied him ever since. Tastes good to me! :) As I was adding the creamer to my drink, the same employee who took my order came over and said, "You know, next time you can just order a latte and well make that for you. What youre doing is cheating the system and we lose money that way" to which I replied "Im sorry, I had no idea." He was obviously upset and just walked away. Now, I know that he had no idea how much I sincerely appreciate Lift, no idea that I spread the word of this place like crazy, no idea that I always tip, and that I had no intentions of "cheating the system", but surely hes been given some sort of customer service training. Suggesting an alternative either at the register or even after the fact without the accusations that Im practically robbing the place would have sufficed. His actions just leave one feeling like a crook. Of course I will continue to be a Lift customer; a good cup of coffee is still a good cup of coffee. And if I have to put up with the occasional rudeness, then so be it. This was definitely an isolated event and I hope to be able to continue to come here without having to be on the defense about my patronage with any of your employees. It just ruins "The Lift Experience". Thanks for your time, -Josh

Baristas are incredibly nice. The coffee is wonderful. Some drinks are a little too...inventive for me (like the carbonated iced tea) but their cold brew is wonderful so they have their core products down solid. WiFi is unusable. I had to do tethering on my phone. And the outlet situation is also not great. Like two tables have outlets and the rest dont have anything; not even nearby. If youre just going to read a book or catch up with friends this place is great. For studying, you might have to try somewhere else if WiFi is a must and you need outlets.

Lift is one of Riversides newer artisanal coffee shops. Proudly being a roastery, the people of Lift look at every possible detail in crafting the perfect cup for you. I am a big fan of their Ethiopian Pour Over (worth the wait) as well as their Cold brew during the summer. Now, some will say that their coffee is too different, or too expensive. But I will say that a regular drip cup is under $2 bucks, and that they offer other options on their menu. So if youre a bit adventurous with your coffee, and youre in Riverside, then come check out Lift.

Good coffee. The espresso I drunk was rich and full of flavor. The olive cake was "OK". It looks like all beverages are really made with care. The place is very small. The guys working there seams to have fun working. If you are thinking on a place to go and relax, that is NOT the right place. If you want a good coffee with a good 2 min conversation with the owners, thats the place. There is a small standup table outside. Im sure in a sunny day that Planck is a good one for a coffee.

LOVE their coffee. Cannot rave about this place as much as I would like to. Much, much better than that Starbucks garbage. I do not know why these people do not know have more locations throughout Riverside. I sort of wish they could stay open a little later but it is what it is. Try their roasted coffee beans. I do not think I have yet to have a bad flavor. Check them out if you are ever in the area. The only place I currently buy my beans from for my press.

Very poor service.. Id rather walk across the street to Coffee Bean from now on. A girl that woks there was rude i go there every morning b4 work i came in a lil later asked for some honey for my drink and was told no by yhis employee stating "cause thier honey was expensive". Well so was my drink! Compared to the same drink i get across the street now with Better prices.. Better service and when i asked for honey it wasnt a problem for them.

Barista wasnt the friendliest in my opinion! I always get a cold brew with almond milk and a little flavor on top and she said "Ill do it this time, but that doesnt pair well and next time whoever is here will probably recommend something different, like an americano or a latte. Our cold brew is fruity and intended to be drunk by itself....most of our customers drink our coffee BLACK." Tossed it and went across the street to coffee bean.

This place has some serious coffee. Only the last time I went I got a Vanilla Latte and they ran out of Latte cups and gave it to me in a to-go cups so it got cold faster. It was around 5:30 pm.The latte was $4.25, but I thought the guy who took my order said $1.25? He was so quiet I couldn’t make out what he was saying. Costumer service needs some work, but I did enjoy my latte. All in all the product speaks for itself and it’s great.

I had to drive to Riverside for a morning meeting. I went early in search of great tasting coffee and good ambiance. This place deserves 5 stars on both counts. Helpful, friendly staff explained the many coffee choices without a hint of attitude that sometimes permeates high end coffee establishments. I went with a pour over cup of Costa Rican coffee. It was an excellent choice for a good morning!

This is the only place in Riverside or the Inland Empire that has good teas done the right way. The staff is super friendly. The environment is super laid-back and Ultra swag. The location is Kind of hard to find parking is hard to deal with. The place is small and super busy always. Its the only spot in Riverside that is nice to go to. But anything nice in the Riverside will be crowded.

Friendly service and an awesome third wave coffee shop experience. While the pour over I had one night was great, I wasnt too crazy about the espresso in my latte, as it felt as it had lost any of the zestiness Im used to in my espresso at home. The seating situation is also a bit of a nightmare, but you can still find space if youre determined enough and dont mind making new friends.

Needed to find a place to study as my wife just found a job near here. Solid coffee shop. Tons of seating and a study booths with outlets and padded seats. Fun theme. Knowledgeable staff. And, of course the coffee tastes great. Sumatra drip is keeping me focused right now. Earth tones with just the right amount of sweetness (something you wont find at Starbucks). Highly recommend.
