Very Dirty, even showers need repairs, lockers need replaced, Everything, including machines, floors, and walls need cleaning, weight machines leave much to be desired. Cardio machines are fine, however, and the staff member I talked to was friendly. I recommend Anytime Fitness instead, though if youre not a member there, accessible hours are limited (24 Hour key fob acres avail for members). Next time ok in the area, Ill prearrange Anytime Fitness. Even more likely though, Ill stay in a different town with a more useful, accessible, and praying gym nearby. If I lived nearby, I wouldnt put any money to This gym, Id spend a slight bit more to Anytime Fitness instead, or Planet Fitness. Alternatively, Planet Fitness is also nearby. About 30min away from This 24 Hour Fitness is the one in Walnut Creek: 5*: I Highly Recommend! Id also probably try Concord before returning here. It is also 30 minutes away, though I havent been to that one yet.

I dropped by here on my way back from an appointment recently. I really miss going here as a kid. The mall used to be so lively. Its been ages since there were shops that sold Pokemon cards. With the economic downturn over the years, pretty much the only reasons to hang out here are the nearby housing and the 2-story Walmart that was built into the mall around the time I moved out of neighboring El Sobrante. Many shop spots are unfilled, leaving a few good clothing and jewelry stores, and some eateries. Fortunately, theres still JCP and Sears. Really, though - the entire mall area and adjacent Fitzgerald shopping area are different than when I was growing up. Its just not exciting to hang out at the mall anymore, because of the emptiness. I guess some things are better left unseen.

Hilltop Mall is so Ghetto. Wal Mart has brought down the Mall. It is now Bank Owned. Hilltop Mall is a Tiny Booper Mall. "NO" one wants to come in this Sorry Mall. Theres "NO" FOOD COURT in the Mall. Fashion is last years clothing that didnt sell at other stores. They send it to Hilltop in hopes they will sell it. I will go to Sun Valley in Concord, West Field Mall in Fairfield, or San Francisco (Powell Street Bart), Stones Town Galleria San Francisco, Southland Hayward, Great Mall {Milpitas}, Stone Ridge in Pleasanton. The only good thing they did was getting rid of MICHAEL FINELY. Hes of the continental United States. They contracted out there Janitors and there Security Personnel. They dont have to pay them benefits. I will be visiting other Malls.

I dont have anything bad to say about Hilltop Mall over all. Some of the parking lots look like litter lots, but people need to learn how to put their trash in a receptacle on not throw it out onto the ground. Hilltop at one time boasted quite a few really nice shops. With the closing of JC Penney, it may be the beginning of the end. I hope not. It feels like Ive been coming here for at least 15 years. Not sure when the mall opened. I miss San Rio store. And a couple of others. It would be nice to see a revitilization, with an influx of new and modern shops.

Some big stores are still a good place to shop like Walmart, Sears, etc but almost all the small businesses have left due to high rent and robbery. Some stores are very disorganized and usually these stores have rude customers. I been going here since I was a kid and its not the same anymore. At the center of the building right now they have a merry go round that seems to be permanent, when I was a kid that place change every other week to keep it fresh for both parents and kids shopping there.

My own Grandfather helped build this once awesome mall! Bad business practices of HIGH rent prices forced shops to charge too much for their products. Then Walmart came to town & put the final nail in the coffin of this once great Community Mall. In my opinion the architecture alone is still worth a visit though. Great work Grandpa! Your great grand kids still enjoy it 50 years later! I miss you every day. Happy fathers day. R.I.P.

This Mall has survived for so many years!!! It has 2 barber shops open 7 days a week. A few big box retailers Macys, Walmart & J.C Pennys to name a few. At least 6 Tennis shoe stores a host of other shoe stores as well, located mins away from Hwy 80. There is also several Banks, restaurants, K-12 school, gas station, Housing, hotels & a dispensary. Stop by & support my local Mall so I can continue to enjoy its amenities.

This is the worst mall I have ever been to. Doesnt even deserve a star. Every other store is a barber shop or tacky furniture. Even Macys sucked. Not one brand name store. The people there sorry look like the riff raft. Not safe at all. They need to close it down and restart. Its so sad that this is the closest mall to us without going to Concord or Emeryville. CLOSE THIS MALL!!!!

The classic mall gathering of box box stores, Sears, Wal Mart, JC Penny etc, there are also several mom and pops stores in the mall including a great tailor for emergency suit purchasing and alterations, and several snack, drink, dessert, and trinket stores. In current times, and with the lack of people there most days, I wonder how long this place will last.

I like the stores that are family owned and hope that people as a whole can continue to support these small business to bring the mall back to a once lively place it used to be. It was the best mall around for years! Who would of thought one big corporate store would be so straining to the environment it once was! It still is great its just different!!

Walmart really brought this place down. I remember about 10 years ago when this was a respectable mall full of people and a diverse shopping experience, now it has nothing going for it only jewelry kiosks with half their cases full a few cell phone repair and accessory stores and a mediocre Macys. Sorry to see it go down the way it has.

Its nothing wrong with this mall a great place to shop plenty of stores for instance Sears, JC Penny, Macy plus others stores and different shops that sells food to eat. Wal-Mart is not bringing down this mall a very pleasant place to shop no back experience from me. Some people do have bad days always check things out for yourself.

i live kind of near this mall and let me tell you... its not good at all. there are teens running around all over the place, theyre loud, and are always there 24/7. the only reason why this isnt getting 1 star is because they have good shoe stores. There is a Wal Mart right next door too. but that doesnt make it any better.

Hilltop mall has been there for a long time and I think its about seen its days. Some of the major stores last like JC Penny, Walmart, Sears and Macys, and a few smaller but common stores have lasted but most people I know that live around here would rather make the trip to Concord or walnut Creek for better shopping.
