I give this location a -5 star!The worst customer service ever! I have had AT&T since 2013. Ive always ordered new devices online. I went into the store and the sales rep Saad sold me a new Samsung galaxy S8+. I experienced the new phone crashing applications and being unresponsive to the touch screen. I took the phone back to the store the same day that I found out Saad did an unauthorized charge to my debit card by signing me up with Direct TV Now. After having to file a fraud claim and taking time out to get a new bank card; I went back to the store with my issues. The store manager Arnalfo didnt want to exchange my phone without me doing a factory reset on my personal computer, which meant more of my personal time and wiping all of my current information in the phone. I left the store only to return the next day after talking to an AT&T rep over the phone which didnt help. The next day I went back to the Richmond store and allowed them to do a factory reset because I was told by the manager of the st ore that a lot of the Samsung phones need to be reset in order to work. I have had two previous Samsungs and this has never happened. Two hours after doing a factory reset, the phone malfunctioned twice. I went back to the store and was told I need to pay a $45 restocking fee. I refused to pay such a cost for an exchange. I asked for the area manager phone number and had to call 14 times before she gave the store manager authorization to return the phone without a stocking fee. At that point I was overjoyed just to get another device. Less than 12 hours later, the new device froze completely and the device wouldnt power off. I took the phone into the store and Arnalfo agreed to give me another phone and actually bought a new phone out to exchange it. The system would not let him do another return. We contacted the warranty department and they could only offer to send out a phone by mail by using my warranty, which wasnt an option for me. I then was able to reset the device myself after three hours of the phone being unresponsive. Arnalfo then changed his mind and said he would need me to pay $45 for a restocking fee to get another device which he never mentioned until I got my device to power off and on. I left the store after Arnalfo never apologized for my inconvenience and treated me as if I havent already purchased two iPhones and three Samsungs from AT&T. I am furious at the customer service I received, as well as the fraudulent charges that were put on my bank card when I initially purchased the phone. I was told by AT&T customer service there is no actual department I can contact by phone, I can only send a written correspondence. Upper management will definitely be hearing more from me!

I came to AT&T to open a new line because of their "great" passport plan that would have made it convenient for my trip to Africa , which offered a very low rate compared to other mobile companies. A month later after being out of the country and light usage kf AT&Ts service , i receive a bill for $172 , great not a problem, two weeks later i receive a bill for $875 for the international usage that was supposed to be covered by the passport plan . I went to AT&T store and it was a whole different scenario! When i came to open the line they were selling hopes and dreams but when it was time for a customer service they threw me all over the country and sent the bill to a collection agency ! Moral of the story , dont come to this AT&T store because the employees and the manager left professionalism at home !

I was shocked when different people working there had no match what they say. They were like a kind of confused about what to do with my issue. I was put on queue for 3 times but they could never solve my problem of migrating prepaid no. to our account. It looked like they were not interested to do so cause it was from the same att carrier. I dont know the workers there were standing, playing mobile and texting but we were kept waiting. When we went to bestbuy, same issue was done like within minutes... Appreciate bestbuy customer service .... Customer service of att mcdonald ave richmond sucks.... Slow motion people. They even dont like to suggest what next can be done. Moreover, things are comparatively more expensive than best buy.

Signed up with rep Saad in store and pre-paid for a month of wireless service. Later I received a bill from At&T. I called AT&T and they demand another full payment for the same month and dont know anything about my first payment. I dont recommend this company or any of their stores or reps unless you want to pay double.They wont fix it or make it right so its going to collections.

Phone stopped working and went in to get a replacement. I showed up to the store at 7:15pm, instead of being helped the girl at the front door started giving me excuses as to how late it was and how they may or may not be able to get to me before they closed. At the end of the day i was not helped. Horrible service!

I would not recommend going with them. The people in the store dont know anything customer service on the phone would rather argue with you then solve your problem Service they offer is very pricey with hidden charges
