I usually love going to walmart, and after today Im going to be looking elsewhere. I couldnt believe how rudely I was treated at the Rancho Cordova Store #2457 this morning. I called the store if they had a lost and found, a simple yes or no. Instead i got a woman who transfered me to customer service, who had absolutely no clue if they had a lost and found and transfered me to a manager, who in turn didnt know and tranferred me back to another manager, I was getting frusterated. I was on hold for 5 minutes while the managers and customer service tried to figure out if they had a Lost and Found.... The last person who I talked to got EXTREMELY RUDE! Me: Do you have a lost and found? Woman with thick accent - Let me transfer you to a manager Me: Wait. Its just a yes or no question. Ive been transfered 3 times already.... and nobody seems to know if your store has a lost and found!? Woman: Youve called way to early (7:45am), we are short staffed, you should call back around 9am. Me: In the time weve been on hold, weve been able to drive to the store. Woman: Wait your coming to the store? ME: Yes. Were in the parking lot. Woman: Ok, then I dont see why your on the phone with me then. If your coming into the store. Im hanging up now... *click* SERIOUSLY!?!?!! Thats how you guys treat your customers!? when we got into the store, a CSM that we talked to was extremely confused and she "talked" to the woman who handles the calls and stated she hadnt talked to anyone. They couldnt find what i was looking for (So whoever got my shawl I hope you enjoy it and it keeps you warm, it was a christmas gift from my sister). I asked for a district manager or a corperate number, so I could file a formal complaint, I got told... Call Walmart. That the CSM would be talking to the girl again. She was floored by the reply and the hang up, she was the service desk is open at 7... Most of their employees there are pretty nice, but most of the upper management are completely UNTRAINED. Dont get me started that they like to put items on the shelves that havent been inputted in the system and try to sell the item. We saw the same 3 items and have tried to buy them multple times, only to have them taken away because they werent in the system. The girl who was in charge of it didnt want to do it, after the 3rd time, and got a sporting goods manager to do it. Just goes to show, this store will promote people who are completely untrained.

The Ranch Cordova location is by far the least desirable Walmart store that I have have visited. The store often messy (random clutter everywhere), it is also dirty (as in surfaces are unclean, stained, etc.) which is just sad. Their customer service is deplorable to say the least and Dont even bother to interrupt the people stocking the shelves in the evening to ask them the location of an item.. Ive done so on two occasions and both times was treated as if I had interrupted an important conversation. I once asked to speak with a manager regarding a customer service concern and the "gentleman" who claimed he was the manager made it obvious that he himself (not just his staff) require more customer service training. Frankly speaking, the store should be avoided and until it is cleaned and makes some staffing changes. Today I tried to call them to check stock on a PS4 bundle. I Didnt get through to electronics so I called and asked to speak with a manager. The manager picked up and I let her know I had been trying to reach the electronics department and what I needed. She asked me to hold on while she went to the electronics department to check on the item. After a couple of minutes she picked up and asked what I was looking for.. I told her, she said to hold again, I waited about 10 more minutes and ended up giving up and calling Target. I wonder how much $$ these employees cost their company today.. Anyone know the mark-up on a PS4 and a copy of GTA V? Im guessing they cost the company over $100 :-(

This place shares a small shopping area with a supermarket, gas station, shoe store and fast food restaurant. Nearby are more of the same general shops. There is also a nearby rapid transit system that has a stop across the street. This Walmart is always busy. The parking lot is sometimes a hassle and always dirty. Inside is not much better, mostly from the careless clientele but should be better maintained from a big name business. There is an optometrist in store as well as a McDonalds where the menu is limited and the prices inflated. There is seating however. There is a customer service area for returns and money orders, etc. The line here is frequently long. Employees hustle about moving and stocking items without the care or notice of the shoppers around them although they do a good job at keeping the shelves and bins neatly stocked with care. The produce and durable goods are always in great shape so no worries about any purchases. I might be a little harsh on the rating because I expect more from the employees but then that might be on the employers tight pocket book. Sometimes there are exceptional employees here that I think are overlooked by management.

MAGGOTS in WALMART PIZZA. We purchased a whole pizza from this location on 8/8/11 and the lady said it was cooked 15 minutes ago. We purchased it and my fiance ate the very same pizza within 30 minutes. He was sick and ill. Long Story short, I microwaved him the same pizza we purchased from yesterday for about 3 minutes. After I took it out, I handed it to him and see small patches of little lines that far away would look like drops of wet paint. As I looked much closer, I said to my fiance that it looked like mini maggots or worms. And we went back to the kitchen to look at the other pizza that wasnt microwaved and we saw so many small maggots in and around the pizza. And that just gross us out, and it completely explains why my fiance was ill after eating the pizza. I mean who would have known, that maggots are in your pizza. We went back to this Wal-mart and the manager said she couldnt do anything but give us a refund or a new pizza. -----Really? would we want another pizza after eating maggots from them? I would give no star at all!!!! Very Unsatisfied customer. I come to Wal-Mart almost every week and this is how they treat us.

Dear Manager, I always love your store, but today I have to give you 1 star, in fact I was so upset I left my things with the Cashier "Mary" and walked out. The problem was I couldnt read the Debt Card Machine, all the number except 3 were gone do to wearing out. This machine has been used so many times that there is NO NUMBERS to see. How am I suppose to type in my Debt Card Number when you cant see them. I was in business for 50 years owned and operated middle size Health Food Stores in California & Utah and I wouldnt never have machines that looked this way. The Management of Walmart should go back to Management School. I spend $1,200.00 a month at this store and I will not come back until you fixes your machines. Thats it. By the Way, Mary your cashier person is so wonderful, a true gifted employee, I just love her, I hope you get this item fix soon so I can come back and see her. Thanks. Ron Gillespie
