Usually a good place to get parts. This time, bought a starter, installed it. Returned following day with old starter core and receipt. They refused to accept the core due to me not having the box with me. No reference to needing a box neither on receipt nor on the starter box itself. They have obscure postings in the store that make reference to needing original packaging. I was given managers cell phone, called him once I got home. He informed me I could go back and that the employees have been instructed to accept my core without a box. What a waste of time.

I only gave it 1 star because the cashier was very nice...CANT give it more because the Customer Service is really bad...i went in asking for parts for my truck and they didnt help at all and when asked to speak to the Manager the manager was really rude. I Recommend OREILLY..I went there after i left the store and OREILLYs Customer Service helped me out and answered my questions and treated me with respect just how a Customer deserves.

Autozone always has the best prices and best warranty hands down. As for the customer who returned a core with the box. Are you serious? Ever since Ive been working on cars its common practice to return the core in the box of what you replaced it with. Not their fault you didnt know this.
