We love this place for two reasons. One we get "Texas Orange" or to an Indian, "Sweet Lime". We had searched for this in several stores and we were unable to find it until somebody suggested this store. We usually avoid Chinese stores since the smell gets us. My wife is particularly sensitive to smell and given that they sell sea-food as well, we kept out of it. But then, we just decided to give this store a try one evening. The smell is there, but then it is very manageable. The place is very clean and very well organized. The vegetables and fruits appear very fresh and we have already been there a few times and no complaints on the produce. We do get Texas Oranges and Guavas. We havent tried anything else, but the store is massive and well stocked. The staff is friendly too. Dont expect a Target/Safeway kind of customer service, but the staff are pleasant and they speak English. Parking is good. It is located in a complex full of other shops and hence you find plenty of parking spaces. There is a Panda Express close to this market. The market also has several stores. If you are looking for porcelain decorative items, there is a huge store inside this market as well. We havent ventured into completely explored this place. We will do it one of these days.

Cleaner than the average Ranch 99 (much better than the 99 in West Dublin). There are some items I buy here because prices are reasonable or an ingredient or sauce is hard to procure elsewhere. Their vegetables and seafood are pretty good, but Id buy meats elsewhere. Hot foods are reasonably priced, but the quality could be lacking. Probably in anticipation of the new Marina Foods to open kitty-corner from the SF Premium Outlet (next exit East on 580), this 99 has noticeably improved its cleanliness as of late.

Theres a certain aroma one must get used to in order to shop here. After youve acclimated (bring a sweater, its cold inside!) you can then treasure the assortment of goods filling the aisles. With the ice cream, you might find frozen french fries, across from the most frozen shrimp dumplings you will ever see! The bakery selection is tasty. I especially like the pineapple buns. The check-out lines never seem that long when I visit, so try a weekend night if you dont like to wait.

Asian supermarket chain that operates globally. The only Asian market chain in the Tri Valley Area. Good for asian ingredients that you cant find at Safeway. Would not recommend the poultry if you are making it American style because it is a bit cheaper and hence a bit less fresh. The meat I buy there is the stuff I cannot find in American markets like Shabu Shabu meat, pork bellies, whole fish, etc. Pretty standard bay area asian market.

Fresher meats and fish than any Safeway Ive found! Its an Asian market, so be sure to have a friend to help you translate when youre ordering at the meat counter. Otherwise, its a great market to find fresh meats, veg, and plenty of strange exotic condiments when youre aching to cook that chinese dish on food network.

肉舖賣的豬肉有股難以忍受的腥臭味,即使用大量香料也無法去除。魚類也不新鮮腥味重肉質差。這兩項不要購買,買了也無法退款,只能自認倒霉。

This place is too cool! We love the huge selection of hard to find fruits and veggies and their seafood selection is like visiting an aquarium! I really wish they had some more english speaking staff on hand as its hard to find certain things and their food court area has some pretty lackluster selections.

It is a very nice 99 ranch, with plenty of Asian produce. Staff is friendly, but more often than not they wont speak English. I was very surprised to find Dutch chocolate sprinkles (hagelslag) in milk and pure chocolate. Also some rice cookers are much cheaper here than if you would but it on Amazon.

This place is a hit or miss. Some of the products like noodles, sea food, dumplings are good but their hot food and imports are really bad. What they lack is consistency which kind of keeps the customer always guessing and confused about how a product will turn out to be once you use them.

Decent packaged selection but beware of the produce and especially the meat counter. Veggies are usually soft and beginning to turn bad. Bought meat here and old meat was mixed into fresh meat so they could get rid of it. Old meat was almost rancid. Get your meat and produce elsewhere.

This is like the Safeway of Asian foods, things are good quality and the seafood is fresh also pricing isnt that bad! And customer service is good though Ive only been once so may update review later. Also I like this place so much Im actually leaving a review (my first one ever)

I prefer this location to the other one nearby, in Dublin. Its Dungeness season now, and you can ask the guys to pick one out with a big claw. They will steam it in-house for you for free, if you want. Otherwise just take it home and put it in a pot of hot water!

Unlike other Ranch 99, this one is like a mini-plaza where they have a full size bakery, financial bank, and other various small shops. The place can be a zoo on the weekend but if youre looking for fresh food and dont mind the fishy smell, this is the place to go

Good for fish, crab, fresh vegitable and Asian food. You will get variety of fishes including fresh live fish and crab. Meat is not that good, I prefer Sahara or Mediterranean markets/shops.

Much better than the Dublin location. Prices for fish seem a little better, the aisles are much less cluttered, the produce is better, and they generally keep plenty of checkout lines open.

The supermarket to get all things Chinese. Their produce is fresher than other 99 ranch markets in the Bay Area. They also sell cooked foods such as BBQ meats.

99 Ranch has a very diverse collection of Asian foods. This location in particular seems more popular and well-run than the West Dublin one.
