#boycott.ross Couldnt even get passed shoes. As I walked in the door I read a sign welcoming bargain shoppers. The security officer said hi. I returned his greeting. He then replied, we dont allows beverages. I was perplexed for a second and left to leave. I ended up speaking to management by phone to see if this is all Ross stores as there are two in Pleasant Hill. I was told that theres a sign on the door and something about spills. Most other stores train staff to clean up spills. Not that spillage is a laughing matter as people could slip and fall. This is just the first time Ive ever been kicked out of a store and because Im drinking a covered drink. Even local libraries allow drinks as long as they have a lid. I just wont shop at Ross. Sometimes temps reach triple digits and you dont allow water (drinks)? Not cool. I did read that this location doesnt have adequate staffing. Again, most retailers have staff that are trained to handle "accidents". And even Marshalls (a competitor) sells beverages. I smell a lost lawsuit. Did someone slip and fall due to Rosss negligence in cleaning up a spill? Ps: Im a grown adult and do not spill my drinks.

Great prices, a lot of items on sale but in some areas selection can be limited. They have what they have, if theres something specific you are looking for its not always there (although they might have it a few days later). Staffing seemed adequate during several of our visits over the past couple of years.

Bad return policy. When you dont have a receipt, with tags on garments, they automatically give you store credit for $1.99, no matter how much you paid. I ask the clerk to check my credit card for proof of purchase and they refused. I will no longer shop here.

I TOOK MY MOM SHOPPING. I DO NOT REALLY COME HERE FOR ME, I CANT NEVER FIND ANYTHING MY SIZE OR WHAT I REALLY LIKE... THIS TIME I BOUGHT A PICTURE FRAME AND I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH IT TILL I TRIED TO TAKE THE STUPID PRICE TAG OFF THE GLASS

Lots of discount prices at this store. There needs to be more staff on the weekends though, as the lines can get long.
