The store itself and the merchandise you carry is very nice. It is big, clean and there is a lot to choose from. I made a purchase and used a Joanns coupon that I located on the internet (30% off one regular priced item). I was purchasing six items. Then I passed my phone to my son who was standing next to me and the next person in line. He had his own item to purchase. The sales cashier advised us that this was not allowed. Remind you that this is an internet coupon that he could have easily have pulled up on his own phone, instead of me passing mine. She said she would make an exception this one time but wanted to warn us that if we got a different cashier or went to a different store next time, that they would not honor it. Then since she was having problems scanning the coupon from our phone, she started keying in the number. She then advised us that the coupon could not be used because the number is already used. I do not know how stupid your cashier thinks we are, but this coupon was pulled from the internet and it would have the same coupon number on it regardless of whomever pulled it up. The number doesnt change. The whole checkout experience was uncomfortable and I was embarrassed by what was being said to us as the line of customers were standing there listening. Honestly? Is this guest experience you would want your customers to have? My son had his own merchandise to purchase, and his own method of payment. Regardless if he used my phone for the coupon or his what difference does it make? I will tell you the difference for me. I dont think I would return to this store.

Ive been to this store many times and more often than not, the employees are rude and unwilling to help and/or not knowledgeable about sewing, crafting projects and tools. Ive even asked the store manager simple sewing questions, like should I use cotton or polyester thread on silk fabric and she had no idea and had no intention on finding an answer for me. I also special order 20 yards of fabric and the manager didnt think to tell me that the order would come in 2, 10 yard bolts and to make adjustments accordingly. When I went to pick up the fabric, she was willing to refund my money, but had the attitude as though I should have known. Ive also asked about sharpening my scissors and an employee said, "I have no idea, my dad always sharpened mine." Really? Can your dad come do mine too? I have to think that they get this question often?

These people are so rude and nasty, even the supervisor is this way. I should have known when I purchased the fabric; they were nasty, and acted as if they were doing me a favor. When I returned the cheap, $14 piece of material, 2 days after I purchased it, they accused me of having washed it because it had a fragrance to it, then, said that the receipt said 2 1/4 yards and it measured less that I was returning. I was furious! I told her that she is the one that measured it, and that cheap black cotton would surely show if it were washed. I will NEVER go back their again. On top of everything, they are not very knowledgeable.

Sight for sore eyes. This place looks so sad. From the minute you walk in, there is nothing that males toy want to stay. Out of necessity I came shopping here and ended up leaving, not willing to put up with the excruciatingly long line for the cut center station. The employees were nice enough and helpful although very sparse. I promptly went over to Michaels to deal with the beautiful store there. At least while Im waiting in line I feel like Im in a nice place, instead of a dreary run down store.

Went in today to buy 20 yards of the same fabric. I wanted it in 3 yard cuts to be more manageable and so I didnt have to wash it all at once. The manager said the would only cut one 3 yard piece then Id have to take the rest as once piece. Ive gotten it done this way many many times at other stores. There is no reason for not doing this for me other then laziness. I will be contacting corporate about this.

I like this store better than Michaels. The reason is employees are willing to work with you on separate transactions so you can get more discounts. And they are seem to be easy going ppl. What I dont like are not enough employees to help me when Im there, 99% of stuffs go on sale when they have 60% off(Really lame) and this store doesnt have clay stamps. Hopefully, you will improve.

Rude and terrible customer service. They act like theyre doing you a favor to cut your fabric. I moved up to Orange from Foothill Ranch. The Joanns there is big and beautiful with great customer service and everyone has a smile on their face. This place is ugly and run-down. The sales people are not willing to help. I avoid this location as much as possible.

Fairly crowded, smaller location, so its a bit cramped. Staff is really limited. There is always a long, incredibly slow line at the register. The redhead male employee with the beard is a real jerk! Good for yarn and fabric, but nothing else. I absolutely recommend going to another location, because this location does -not- have good variety!

Honestly, one of the worst Joanns out there. They really need some music in their store, and better team members. Ive called twice to find out if they had something in stock (I have a 8 month old, so going out isnt easy unless I know its worth it) and Ive been put on hold and forgotten. Ugh.

Terrible customer service. Very unwilling to help. Ask for a specific item and they point in a GENERAL direction for that item. Tried to approach someone for a quick question as they were walking and was completely ignored. Will never EVER come back. I dont know how this place stays in business.

Joannes has the best selection of sewing supplies in the area, with PLENTY of coupons to choose from so the prices cant be beat - but, its an ordeal to shop there since things are so slow and frustrating. Definitely a love hate relationship with this place, but I keep going back no matter what

Depending on when you go there may only be two employees scheduled to cover the cash register and cutting area for the entire store. The building and restrooms are a bit dingy, but otherwise its got everything youd expect to be at Joans.

Ok so I went for my 7th grade project and they kept saying I got too much fabric but I got what my teacher asked for, but the fabric and thread worked great and they were helpful I just didnt appreciate there questioning

Very expensive and not a super lot of selection on knits. The manager was a lil rude and didnt want to do her job when I was charged wrong. The employees at the cutting counter are pretty knowledgeable and nice.

Customer service is always a difficult issue to overcome. Its like Joannes knows they have the corner on their stores when there is no Hobby Lobby in the area so they just dont try to bother to please the customer.
