Its all true. Its a true 24/7 community hub. This is a wonderful store with a fair variety of products. A gas station and diesel, a Jamba Juice, a Starbucks and a Redbox. It has public Wi-Fi and an indoor place to seat and hangout. A Deli and a hot box with hot take out food. It also is under staffed with over worked employees. Some employees are the best despite all these problems. Some dont care at all if people are stealing and you notify them. My concern is the huge detrimental impact when this community store is driving to closure by miss management.

Awful! Only 2 cashiers open with long lines. This has happened many times at this store. This was just before 3pm on a Wed. I was first told that the store has trouble getting cashiers,. but then they all came in at 3pm. So more lines opened, after I checked out. People do shop before 3 pm, especially in my area where there are a lot of retirees. I have been going to Trader Joes lately, as they open a check out when 3 people are on a line. Maybe Safeway should check out their store management. Otherwise I really love Safeways own brands.

Store was very neat and clean lots of Staff Safeway staff restocking shelves and working hard the only negative thing today is there was only one cashier that was checking out people so we went to the self-serve which I like cuz I dont like people handling and throwing my my food that Im about to buy. So thats the only negative thing one cashier and repeatedly I heard her ask for help. Thank you Betty Fitzgerald Novato Safeway.Nave Drive

During peak times there are often 2 checkers and one on self checkout. Usually no express lane. The lines can be 20 people deep and take so long that frozen foods melt. Its worth driving a few miles to the one at Northgate or spending a bit more and going to Nugget. This store is a joke. The one star here is for Chris the butcher. She is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Very clean, friendly staff who were able to give information about the fuel area. A nice array of both organics and nonorganic fruit and veggies. Starbucks young lady was very courteous, and made my drink order perfectly. Nice job folks.

Just a terribly depressing place to be. The staff are grumpy. The lighting is dark and dismal. Other customers look like theyd rather be anywhere else. Go to Nugget. The food is better and the staff are actually friendly.

Great market but never seem to have enough checkers. Last 3 visits waiting in line longer than shopping for what I bought. There are only 2 to 3 checkers on during high traffic time of 6 pm, right after work for most.

Good Safeway, but the parking is always difficult in this center. I usualy go to Nugget on the other side of the freeway where parking is easy (larger spaces, more of them). But this Safeway has a great selection!

The pharmacy people are professional and quick in filling your prescriptions. And if theres any "issues" they deal with it without making a fuss asking endless questions etc etc
