Boy where do I start here. Well ill break it down as quick as I can. BAIT & SWITCH! Bought a 2013 Chevrolet Impala back in 2015 and after one said interest rate I was told to come back to sign another contract for a better interest rate the next day. Lucky I was still in town. Fast forward 2 weeks and got a call saying they "Lost" my contract and I needed to sign another one. Very fishy at this point I told them to FedEx me the mailer with that to sign because Im 400 miles from the dealership. Got it in 2 days, signed the contract and mailed it back. another 2 weeks later I get another call from the dealership telling me that the finance company they chose for me was going out of business and that my interest rate would go up to 13% because there was no one else who would finance me. I made a phone call to the said finance company who was suppose to be going out of business and was told they were not, but could not find my name anywhere in there system. Typical BAIT & SWITCH tactic! At this point & about $600 worth of work to the car already I decided to drive the car back to them & request my add-ons back in the form of a check. I got most of it back & returned the car, but what a joke of a dealership this place is. I have never dealt with such crap before. Not to mention there prices advertised do not include a $995 dealer fee that they conveniently add to the contract. I did not see this at first because he printed the papers and laid them face down. After seeing this fee I questioned it, but ultimately still bought the car because of the price. Do yourself a HUGE favor and STAY AWAY from this place! You will thank yourself that you did & you will regret it if you do business with them!

I feel like most people are more likely to write a negative review than a positive one. I posted this review on yelp and just posting it here as well. I dont normally post reviews my but after my experience especially after having read the reviews before I went I felt I had to. I bought a Ford Cmax from James 2 weeks ago and I love it! Last week the boyfriend and I went on a mini road trip and I just so glad I got it from LA Auto Exchange! Before going to the dealership I did read the reviews but I was determined to make my own experience. I shopped around for over 3 months trying to find the perfect Cmax and finally I found it at LAX. When my boyfriend and I entered we were greeted by James and I asked about the Cmax, which he said it was still available. He brought the car around for us to test drive and afterwards I was completely sold. Id debated for a long time as to whether to go with a new or used vehicle, the Cmax at LAX had everything I wanted and the miles where low and the price was great. James worked with the bank to get the monthly payments exactly where I wanted them. He went over in detail all the fine print and didnt mind explaining anything in further detail. Before we left, he had the car detailed and the tank filled! I had a wonderful experience and got the car I wanted! Thank you James!

This dealership is completely incompetent, rude, disrespectful and does not care about your business. I came LA Auto Exchange buy a 06 BMW M6 that was listed for $24,500 online. Talked to an employee named Jim. He asked me to come down and test drive the car and see if we could work something out. When I arrived they raised the price to $26,995. Then after waiting over an hour in traffic to see the car, he told me I could not test drive the car and walk away. I called the following day to talk to the manger, because he was not in that day. Jim answer the phone and said some derogatory comments and hung the phone up on me and would not transfer me to the manger. Jim is a young guy that cant understand simple business practices. He prejudge me an assumed because I was young, I could not afford the car and was completely disrespectful. I am an ex NFL player and currently an engineer. I had cash to pay for the car and I wanted to buy 3 cars form LA Auto. If you have the option, take your business to a company that will appreciate your money. I got a hold of the manger Adam a few days later and he made excuses for Jim. LA Auto Exchange is garbage. I was beyond disappointed..

I drove over two hours from SD to LA to look at a BMW 328i only to have them tell me that the cars check engine light was on and I couldnt take it to the dealer I had scheduled to do a pre-purchase inspection on. Salesman was very non-chalant and dismissive of the fact I came so far to view the car. I had even taken cash with me in case the inspection went well. What it seemed like happened, at least to me, was that the vehicle I wanted was somehow damaged and/or unreliable, thus they didnt want an actual BMW dealer looking at it and discovering the problem. So, just to recap, the salesman are very unprofessional and uncaring when dealing with the public who are seeking to buy cars from them. I couldnt say for sure because they wouldnt let me take the car to an actual BMW dealer, but it also seems they are intentionally hiding defects/problems with cars until they can find someone to buy the vehicle that doesnt insist on an independent review of the car. Steer clear of this dealer and save yourself the time and money.

I dont really enjoy writing reviews, but I felt compelled to warn people regarding this dealer. During the signing of my contract, I noticed they charged me 380.00 for DMV Registration fees for a 2006 Expedition. When I brought it to their attention, they explained it was just an estimate and would receive the difference once the vehicle was registered. About a month later when I received my registration from the DMV the receipt showed the fees paid being 168.00, so logically, I called the dealer. They asked me to scan the registration and email it to their office. Its been 7 months, countless phone calls and emails and I am not near of getting my refund. Also during the signing, I noticed they were trying to sale me a power train insurance for 2,000 that only covered the vehicle for 4,000. When I brought it up to their attention they dropped the price dramatically. I dont recommend this dealer to anyone. They are intentionally out to take advantage of people, and play their customers for a fool.

TAKE CAUTION !. So yesterday I bought a vehicle from this place from TONY. He assured me of the vehicle and also gave me his word that the vehicle was a quality vehicle and if something went wrong he would personally help me fix it. On my way home the check engine light came on so I did a diagnostic and guess what ? Bad transmission. This will cost me 1,500$ to 2,000$ to fix. And remember, this is the same day. Here is the funny part. I waited at this facility for over 4 hours for there mechanic to get it to pass smog. If a car went through a legit smog, the check engine light would not come on the same day, Sounds illegal! They will sell u a car that has not been properly smogged or fixed of its problems to make a quick buck. The great guy Tony who sold me the car said that if anything went wrong he would personally come out of his pocket o help me fix the vehicle. I called Tony the same night and told him about the issue , and guess what ? He did nothing to help "typical car salesman". Hope this helps.
