My experience leasing a 2013 BMW 328i at New Century went better than I could have ever imagined! I went in as a young woman by myself. I had done a ton of research on the car I wanted (2013 328i sedan) but was still really worried I was going to get taken advantage of due to this being my first car buying experience solo. However, this wasnt the case, far from it. Elvis Blohm was my sales guy and truly went above and beyond and made me feel like I was the only customer he had that day even though it was a busy Saturday. I got a lease deal lower than I even knew possible. I am completely comfortable with the monthly payments and I havent had to sacrifice anything in order to afford my dream car. I ended up getting a 3-series with features (moon roof, navigation, etc.) that I never knew Id be able to afford. Elvis reassured me he could make the price work for me and he was right! Elvis worked with me from 1pm to past 8pm on a Saturday, even staying after hours to make sure my car was set up right and I knew how to use it. He continued to follow up with me that week to make sure I was satisfied too. My mom wants to get a BMW from Elvis at New Century too now that she knows what a great deal and stellar customer service I received from Elvis and the rest of the New Century team. I know car salesman and friend are usually never used in the same sentence, but I left my experience at New Century feeling like I could truly call Elvis a trusted friend! Thank you New Century BMW and Elvis Blohm! I will definitely stay with New Century once my lease runs out and am so relieved I now have a car dealership I can trust. My shiny new BMW is so much fun to drive and such an upgrade from my old Nissan Versa. All my friends are jealous! It even makes driving in LA traffic tolerable. :) I highly recommend contacting and making an appointment with Elvis Blohm at New Century if youre in the market for a BMW. I live in Beverly Hills, but will continue to get cars from New Century BMW in Alhambra after the great experience and service Ive received.

The service at this Alhambra location "suck". I mean it. I recently purchased a used 2014 BMW X3, M sport from a private party. And it still got one year warranty. Somehow the paint on the roof rack is peeling. I dont know why the paint is chipping as you would think this is BMW? And the car is only 4 years old. So I was refer by a friend to this guy name Sydney Cheng, supposed he is the manager of the service department. I bought the car to him on March 3. My first visit to BMW service. He looked the roof rack and told me that he will have to some research on the color of roof rack "why is in black? " Well his thinking was the black paint is probably done outside BMW dealership, not original color. He said he will get back to me. Anyway I waited a week for him to get back to me. So that he has time to do his "research ." But he didnt get back to me. So I called and left a message in his voice mail on March 10. And again waited until March 14 and called and left message. He still not getting back to me. Thats what lead me wanted to write a review at this dealership. This is a bad customer service especially from someone like him, a manager? What kind of leadership is he? No follow up with the customer. At least touch base with me. Am I not important? I never have this kind of problem with LEXUS service. I have Lexus for over 10 years. They never treat their customers like this, always call back and return the call. It doesnt matter how old my car was. All I can say is their services are excellent. And why cant the service from BMW be like Lexus? Is BMW, not some no name brand. If I still not going to hear from him, I am taking this complain to the cooperate. And for that, they only deserve one star from me.

Inferior Dealer! I am not the biggest fan of taking the time to rate anything on line. But I felt I really had to do it on this one. I came across this dealer thru the BMW USA webiste looking for a certified pre-owned vehicle. Definetly this is a dealer catered mostly for the asian market. When I got there to see the vehicle, the sales person was nice but not as attentive since he was most of the time on his cell phone. Then when I told him that I had changed my mind for a different unit he had bad temper trying to push me to take the initial vehicle I was there for. Also he was trying to overprice me the unit based on the prices of the website and when I brought that up he mentioned that maybe BMW was not for me since maybe I could not afford it. I was ready to walk out because I felt highly insulted and I felt I was trying to sell myself to them rather than them trying to sell me the vehicle. When I was walking out about to leave, they brought another seller (non-asian) claiming to be the manager and he was able to handle the situation better. Even thought, he was nicer and seemed more professional negotiating for the price it was still a nightmare because they really hustle for every penny they can get out of you. I really had to get this vehicle because I had been looking for a while and they were the only ones that seemed to have certified pre-owned with low miles comapred to other dealers within the county. Once I got the vehicle, they promised me some items to detail minor scuffs the vehicle had and I almost had to harass them so that they could keep their promise. I mean seriously if you are going to buy a BMW try a different dealer because this was my worse experience buying a vehicle.

Do not get your car serviced here, after my experience, I would not buy a BMW from here either. My car is older and I was hoping to buy a new one soon. I took my car in for a simple service message reset, since they had done the service a few weeks prior and I figured the message was time based and just needed a reset. When I got there, after having me wait in the waiting area: they told me that they were swamped and that since I did not make an appointment, I would have to come back. Then, as I was explaining the situation further another service advisor heard and said he would look. He took my key and pulled me up on the computer, then he said, I am showing your last service date in 2009. I said what? I have been taking my car there for more than 5 yrs, and 2 times just this year and they do not have my service records? The service guy ask me, do you have your paperwork to show your service, I said No it should be in the system. The service advisor looked at me and said, What would you like me to do? That is not good customer service at all. I told him to give me my key and I would leave. I have had a few service issues with them in the past, which they usually sorted it out but it has cost me lots of lost time and this is another example of just that situation. Why do they make their issues mine; 1) not resetting the message when they did the service initially and 2) not being able to even look at my records let alone tell me I had to come back a 3rd time due to their mistake. Simply Unacceptable for the brand.
